- ( www.abnova.com ) - This AbVideo illustrates the process of adherent cells freezing. Cell freezing is the procedure to store cells for future studies. The storage of cells ensures that you have back-up cells in case of contamination or loss of cell supply. The cryopreservation agent and condition can depend on cell type. That wasn't me, but I am surprised they did't check if they got single cells.
Another thing is they didn't tell how to freeze cells: slowly (+4 -> -20 -> -80 -> liquid nitrogen) or immediately?
i love your movies! Please keep it still updated :)
How much freez media should we add?also if too.much of the freez media is added would it kill the cells? Please respond back. Thank you
While adding a slightly excessive amount of freezing media might not be detrimental, there are some potential downsides:
• Dilution: Excessive media can dilute the cell concentration in the final cryopreserved vial. This might affect cell viability after thawing.
• Slower Cooling: A larger volume of media might take longer to cool down during the freezing process. Slower cooling rates can be less efficient for cryopreservation.
did you filtered the freezing medium ?
Can DMSO be frozen and have same benefits when unthawed ?
unthawed... so you mean frozen?
Yes, DMSO can be frozen and retain its benefits when thawed under the proper conditions.
Who clicked unlike and can you explain why? I didn't see anything wrong here...
Sorry hit the wrong b
You never froze them.
