Thank you for this. I've been getting concerned as I'm nearly 20 weeks and can't confidently say I've felt baby move. It's been quite worrying the closer I get to my scan but this video has helped.
This is my 7th pregnancy and I’ve always had a posterior placenta !! This is the first time having an anterior and I was so concerned because I hardly feel the baby move. Today I went for my fetal anatomy scan and the baby was going nuts . And that’s when I was told . Thank you for your video !!
That must be strange! From what I understand it's a very different motion, in the later weeks I found it very strange because it was more like one big movement rather than kicks! Good luck with your pregnancy x
To anyone else who sees this and is wondering, your anterior placenta can be higher, lower, or smack-dap in the middle. They sometimes will classify a placenta by it's tilt even it's fundal (right at the top) rather than having it as a seperate category. With my first I had a fundal placenta, but sometimes it was marked down as an "anterior placenta" even though it really wasn't. I felt movement from 14w onward, my first kid was a *serious mover* -- Now I'm pregnant again and this anterior placenta is in the middle, 15 weeks and nada.
I certainly got very strong movements at the end! I'm not sure what it is like in comparison to a posterior placenta but there's definitely strong movement!
Hello I am currently 20w+3 pregnant after two missed Miscarriages earlier I think I felt baby movements some 4-5 days back they were quite strong ,two times I felt but after that I haven't felt anything that sort of,i am bit scared now What should I do?
Hi. I’m 20 weeks and 4 days. Same thing is happening to me right now. Can you please tell me what happen ? Did you feel babys movement after few days like you used to ? Hopefully all is good :) plz reply let me know I’m so worried idk wat to do
To anyone else who has this happen: You don't need to worry about feeling movement consistently until 28-30 weeks and up. If you're 20 weeks and you feel the odd kick but it's only once a week, that is fine! You're only likely to feel strong movements until they are quite a bit bigger, even people with posterior placentas don't often feel movements *consistently* until 25+ weeks.
