Hello Mark, my daughter loves pickled eggs this will be great you asked the question of how to boil eggs so they peel easier well I think I have a solution, I like to poke a little tiny hole in the air pocket bubble with a quilters pen or a straight pen then you put it in the cold water I add a tablespoon of baking soda to the water you can let them cool to peel and they peel best if you’re in underground water when peeling them but you can peel them without having them underwater wish you best with that💕NonnaGrace
My granny taught me to oh so slightly hairline crack the egg. Place into warm water to boil add 1 tablespoon vinegar. Boil When cooked egg shells come of almost whole, in two pieces PEEL WHILE STILL WARM. SO EASY!
Howdy Brother- my solution for peeling boiled eggs is to let my wife do it. That recipe sounds good. I did a little experiment with smoking boiled eggs in the smoke house and they were really good. Take care and God’s blessings to y’all
My daughter also put onions in hers mark thanks for sharing your recipe with us in the process I was wondering how long can the eggs last if you pickled them? 💕NonnaGrace
Yes to the pantry, not sure on the long term storage. Everything boils, and under vinegar, so refrigeration will help... I’m leaving these out. With my kombucha started (boiled sweet tea w sugar left out until it mothers.
@@ArkansasWoodcutter i had a friend that did kombocha it's really yummy i wish i would have taken him up on giving me a pup and a couple restaurant hats before he left town. That's cool you do that! I should definitely start pickling quail eggs eventually ❤ really helpful video
Easy peel eggs? Put them in vinegar and let the calcium shell get dissolved by the vinegar like the volcano experiment with baking soda. Takes about 15 minutes for quail eggs
So aggravating when they fall apart. My tip for peeling eggs…always plan to make potato salad that day because I guarantee I’ll have some fall apart 😂 Our boy LOVES pickled eggs…I throw some jalapeños in the jar with em.
Just let em sit and eat em black. Taste as good as pickled eggs Your century eggs should be dark green or black and are now ready to eat. You can serve them with sliced or pickled ginger root, soy sauce, Sichuan sauce, or sesame oil.

I always crack the shells and let them sit in cold water for 15 minutes. They peel better. What is the shelf life of the pickled eggs?
Shelf life... 6-8 months? We will find out

Do you put your boiled eggs in an ice bath before you peel them? It works pretty good for me.
