Your measurements leaves a lot to be desired they've done way better than your Zanu PF, from NP where it was only 10 million people who had access to education, healthcare system, electricity, running water, White Economic Empowerment (WEE) etc so the statistics were giving an outlier (it looked as if SA was functioning when it was dysfunctional) when the whole 40 million pupils was left to do nothing the system was bound to collapse when the majority was to be intergrated into it since it was only designed to suit white minority plus add Zimbos/Nigers/Pakistan/Bangladeshi/Mozambiques/Ehiopians hence resources are overwhelmed now

Ramaphosa, Radebe, Motsepe(to a massive degree Gwede but he is a soldier and not a general) bought up SA since 1992. They all managed to play lowkey roles and with the help of Nasper/mEDIA24 STAY OUT OF OUR NEWSPAPERS. Ramaphosa don't care about who you want as President because they will all need to deal with him and his amigos if they wanna get anything done in RSA. Do basic research on how he made his billions and you will see that they all negotiated access to Mandela, and govt for lucrative govt tenders that made them all billions. Cyril elected every person via cadre deployment and using Putin playbook to make sure he is well insulated himself from anybody that might wanna take him on.

No man can measure success of population with a capacity of 500 000 pupils by interacting with only 250 individuals then come with a solid conclusion. That leads to gross error, hence apartheid regime was never a success but a failure since it was designed to fit in only 10 million whites (access to healthcare/education/running water/electricity/white economic empowerment-WEE-) when 40 million blacks were excluded then post '94 the majority is integrated into a system designed to serve the minority, it was bound to collapse.
