The best example is when the king tells link what's up with hyrule and pop, the voice acting is gone and its left with strange japanese sounds.
The King's voice actor has been on record for saying the first three or so days of recording was just "Huh" and "Hmmmm" and "Ruh" and so forth.

I always get this dissapointed feel when the part before the execution in danganronpa comes and for some reason they voiced the entire class trial and only not that part while its mainly the most emotional one
Yeah, I get why stuff like the FTEs and the protags thoughts aren't voiced, but the game should be mostly voiced. Especially after the trial is over and someone's life is about to come to an end.

When you hear a different type of grunt from the characters, it's like you've been stunned.
This also reminds me of games that goes "Hmmm...." or "Ohhh", while checking every single item that catches their eye, including a wall.
Plot Twist Lysanderoth is actually your father, and the elder is his clone who escaped with you from his laboratory. Plot twist 2 (true ending): you are also a clone of Lysanderoth and only by combining with his soul can you stop the destruction of your world. Plot twist 3 (the actual true ending): If your reputation with the elder (who is actually also a Lysanderoth clone is strong), then the elder sacrifices his life and you dont have to die and this is how you unlock the secret campaign all about how your mother was secretly the true Lysanderoth, but that's another story for another comment (The cost for this dlc expansion pack is 9 likes).

One thing I like about Xenoblade Chronicles and Dragon Quest XI is that scenes that are vital to the plot are fully voiced cutscenes while most of the side stuff are told through silent dialogue. The former however, I wish heart-to-hearts were fully voiced.
Edit: No More Heroes has fully voiced cutscenes, but everything else is fully silent, except entering and exiting buildings.

I’m playing through P5R right now, and I’m never sure if a text box will be fully voiced, be partially voiced, just have some random voice clip attached to it, or not be voiced at all.
Same with danganronpa, sometimes I don't know whether it's a full voice acting cut scene or not
It's pretty easy. Class trials are fully voiced, special cutscenes are fully voiced , rest is just dialogue
