@@EvilPowerStealsOn TMNT NES Was too hard. Metal Gear on the nes is a harder version of the MSX game, Bayou Billy was too abitious, and Simon's Quest was misunderstood.
@@UltraEpicLeader10020 MG on the NES wasn't just 'harder' (in terms of map navigation anyway), it was just worse in so many ways (much to mention, but the mere fact that Metal Gear was replaced with a supercomputer is a crime of its own). Snake's Revenge, while having some questionable design elements (especially the side-scrolling parts), was a far superior game and much closer to the spirit of the MSX original. Like, one can say that the other games mentioned were ambitious attempts at new original games that fell short, but MG on the NES was supposed to be a port and yet somehow they still screwed it up.

It never came out on the NES because it used a special memory chip that Nintendo didn't let third party developers use outside of Japan for some reason.
At least in my opinion, Konami never really made a bomb, even in the NES era. Overambitious (Bayou Billy), Misunderstood (Simon's Quest), Exceedingly Difficult (TMNT), but nothing truly wretched.
I am playing this game by using fceux, since it is essentially impossible to get nes or, this game in my country. But during the boss fight of the stage 5, the game froze. If someone could help me with that?
4:24 OMG. Great and nice techno rock. 8-bit rock!

Thank you for the video. I think that there is a very importan thing missing: the compositor(s) of every track. I think it deserves to be told.
Konami just seems to have done everything right for the NES
TMNT nes is lackluster though
Other than Simon's Quest, the first TMNT, the inferior version of Metal Gear, Snake's Revenge, and The Adventures of Bayou Billy.

not only on NES, they were a musical reference on SNES, PlayStation, etc

This vid made me a subscriber. Thanks, man. Excellent NES sounds.
Incredible soundtrack, I looked up the composer's work because it was so good.
2 months later and this is still the most metal shit for a NES i have heard...keep ya posted

Stage 1 BGM is stage 6,too;and stage 2 BGM is stage 5,too.
Stage 2 is lit as fuck

World of fire heavenly white Flames
The first and fourth stage themes sound a lot like M.U.S.H.A. music. Fittingly, because of the similar parallax graphics.
What a pity this game never came out before the NES got surpassed by the SNES.
It never came out on the NES because it used a special memory chip that Nintendo didn't let third party developers use outside of Japan for some reason.
Because the NES is incapable of special chips like VRC6.
yes, it's a mystery

Try an alternate emulator! Nestopia and Mesen are the two best alternatives thus far
Nestopia is too old! FCEUX is supposed to be the definitive emulator for the NES, strange to see it freezing in a game
Try different rom? Coz mine works perfectly using fceux
