LOL good stuff 🤣. MMA comedy isn't something I think I've seen before. This is new and fresh, keep it up. As for the card, I don't know why I ever doubted Belal. It is so clear now that Leon doesn't do well when pressured. That's the key to beating him, and honestly, what Belal did is what I thought Colby was going to do to him. Speaking of Colby, I can't wait for him to come out of nowhere again and start acting like he deserves a title shot lol.
@@Nick-kb2jc colby acts like he’s already won, it’s just an us problem that we don’t agree. I envy his delusion - I might try some of that on for size.
It’s a shame about Leon because when he’s on and he’s flowing, it’s much more beautiful to watch than the belals of the world. But you can’t just be good when the conditions are in your favour.
@@blankexpressionmmaI feel like Leon needs pep talks too often. Must be so frustrating to be his coach sometimes. You watch PFL at all? I’ve been getting into it and actually really enjoying it lately. Especially woman’s flyweight. In my opinion, Dakota Ditcheva is probably the most interesting and exciting fighter to watch coming up right now in all of MMA.
@@Nick-kb2jc yes I watch as much mma as I can, I’m not fussy- I just tend to make videos on ufc for the search volume 😂 Ditcheva is looking unstoppable right now - at least concerning the PFL roster. And she’s local so I’ve been watching her for a good while. The whole Manchester top team are a bunch of killers

I love Tom! My one concern is that his strength may disguise a potential weakness. To be less cryptic, I’ll say that we don’t know how he’ll fare in the later rounds when someone does take him there. How will his conditioning hold up? How will his confidence be when he still sees a monster across the cage getting up from the stool to start the 5th, etc. Currently, I’m enjoying the Aspinall show. He’s the baddest man in the UFC and Jon Jones wants no part of him! Tom will beat Stipe’s title defense record and still only have interim as long as Jon doesn’t retire. 🙄
And Belal? He came and fought adequately 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah I think he can say he’s training for five rounds but you get in there and it’s a completely different story. I’m looking forward to seeing it though (and a few more first round knockouts along the way)

@@EveK-North oh I WISH - one day 🤞🏻 put in a word for me? 😂 nah I met him at a MMA event we’ve had in Manchester for the last two years that didn’t come back this year for whatever reason. It was really good - so many athletes, past and present. I hope they find a way to bring it back

Answering your Q's:
1. Shavkat vs Belal next defo. He's more deserving, more exciting. Leon should fight Ian Garry or MVP next.
2. Jones vs Aspinal won't happen. Jones is too old and think he knows he won't beat Aspinal. He's not as good as a striker and he's at a disadbantage with his speed. He will retire or probably want to fight Periera for his final fight.
P.S. If Belal did this to Leon, your main man Islam would have destroyed him and definitely subbed him
It’s too big a risk for jones. He’s only fighting for legacy now.
Yeah Islam probably could’ve got himself an easy double BUT I think he needs to defend a couple more times first
@@blankexpressionmma yup i agree, Islam needs to defend his belt at least 2 more times before going up. Arman next, possibly Holloway, Gaethji… cant think of anyone else at the moment who is deserving.

Also, am I crazy or did I see a version of Khabib vs. Barboza tonight? It wasn't as impressive or destructive, but the pressure and walking down Leon and breaking him was insane to watch. Belal never let Leon get his footing or rhythm.
I have been saying this for the longest time: these unorthodox guys are real kryptonite for elite strikers. Unorthodox in terms of timing and flow; they're extremely hard to hit and they hit you a lot. Dustin said the same about Islam (not saying Belal is as good as Islam on the feet).
We also have to acknowledge this new type of fighter. They're never the best at anything, but boy, do they do everything correctly. Belal and Merab come to mind right away. I might even go as far as to say Islam isn't the best at any discipline in his division, but he does everything together better than the rest.
Jon Jones needs to retire. Just fight Stipe in a backyard somewhere and leave.
Sidenote: Islam would've gotten the easiest double champ status against Leon. I'm not even talking about the ground game, just Islam's striking is better than Leon's. Leon sucks without those kicks.
