They would definitely do a great cover of Stryper's song "To Hell With the Devil," which is actually one of Dan's favorite Stryper songs. He grew up listening to Stryper, Petra, etc. If you haven't heard his collaboration with John Schlitt and John Lawry of Petra doing tgeir song "Beyond Belief," I'd highly recommend it. Dan emailed them asking them to do a song with him & they accepted. It's one of his career highlights and the look of joy on his face shows it. I have recommended Beyond Belief by Dan, his collaboration with Petra singers John Lawry and John Schlitt. Dan made the decision to become a singer after listening to their Jekyll and Hyde cd and their agreeing to redo their song with Dan was a highlight in his career. It's a great song, too. Loved your reaction to two of my favorite singers. There are a few mashups out there with Dan and other artists, all of which I enjoy, even if not a true collaboration. Another reactor, "Viking Reacts" who I really like did a mashup of Dan and the group Nightwish singing "Last Ride of the Day," which I thought was excellent. Dan does his own covers of Nightwish songs also. Don't worry about any mistakes with regard to Dan as most of his fans are very forgiving with honest mistakes. Happy New Year, Sully!

There's nothing wrong with that. The problem with any of Karla Bessa's mashups, are that she never gives anyone but herself the credit for any of it. I just checked in on a couple of her newest videos, and she's still doing it that way. The title of the videos says who's doing the singing, but other than that, she gives no information at all. It actually amazes me that she can get away with it, since YT is so strong on copyrights.

Thanks Sully for the shout-out 😊I think that a lot of people (including other reactors) assumed that it was an actual collaboration because the title of the video was misleading and she didn't mention that it was a mashup anywhere, not even in the description. Therefore unless you know that she does these mashup videos or are a fan of Erik/Dan and know their releases you wouldn't really know, so it's all good😉

I did, then, look up the lyrics, which are interesting. They originally were centered on a couple's relationship, and how they could, perhaps, work out their times of hurt silences and walkouts, by having conversations, instead, and figuring out better ways to figure out how to not disagree all the time. There's nothing wrong with that. A lot of people should decide to do better about working out those types of conflicts. When Erik and Dan did the song, though, there was already a LOT going on in our world that meant that people everywhere were beginning to be told what they should be doing, by people who had/have no business "bossing them around." There are so many other things (including how people are created, etc.) that have gone into that pattern, since then, as we all know, as well. There was a woman (over a year ago, now) who got upset with them about doing the song, and she declared to anyone and everyone (in comments on Dan's videos and reels) that, "Dan is a misogynist. That's why he sang this song." Her reasoning for that, was the intro to the video that he had posted on his FB page back when the song was posted on YT on 08/19/22. He and Erik really talked it up, and at the end, of the very short announcement reel, Dan said that if any of the "blue-haired land whales out there" didn't like it, that was just too bad. There are a ton of ideas about what that term may have meant when it was first used, and none of them are exactly the same. However, in discussions with others, about it, he did explain that he had never meant what that woman thought he had meant. She mistakenly thought he was talking about her (and/or other people who look like her). When others of us tried to explain what they were REALLY talking about, and why, she started telling everyone that she knew she was right, because ... when he said what he did in that very short intro reel (that she -- along with 1000s of other people, of course -- watched on FB when he posted it), Dan pointed right at HER! Seriously! Tons of people tried to explain to her that could not, in any way, have been correct, but she wasn't having it. He finally had to block her from commenting on his account. What a shame! 🥲

The video with the following title, though, is still on Rodney Atkins' channel without a VEVO stamp on it, and I'm pretty sure you could successfully react to it, and also pretty sure you would like the way it was made, and the reason for it. To" Hell with the Devil" sung by Erik and Dan would.be.U-MAZ-ING. From Dan's 80s covers I def recommend Danger Zone and Born to be Wild. I do love those crunchy slow guitar riffs too, I really, really do. It's just too bad some of lyrical content isn't, uh, too God glorifying. But man I do love Petra and Stryper they are such a great combo of both! Look forward to watching more!
The song is from the time Erik was in HEAT , it was less than ten years ago.
Would love you to react to a love song, he did a cover of, song name is Fairy Tale, originally sung by Shaman, he did it twice, 6 years apart, there you can see the progression of his voice and profession. Also his breath control is outstanding, as a lot of the song is in one breath, per line.

This is such a great vocal performance from them both. The guitarist are Victor the guitar nerd, and he’s a guitarist in the swedish band Eleine. A melodic dark symphonic metal band. A great power metal song about Jesus i think you would like are King of kings with New Horizon. And its got an amazing guitar solo too 😉If you want to check out Eleine, i can recommend Suffering.
