Alex was recently on Nik Nocturnals podcast. There is no production there, he is currently learning how to use his voice and harsh vocals at the same time. So even the last call out (fat efing conflict) is him pulling his adam´s apple way down to reach very low frequencies with his vocal cords and combining it with the screams. According to him it is not very stable yet and it doesn´t always work when he tries it live for example. Basically we can expect some even crazier shit from Alex in the future. This was simply the first try.
@@Wollestar there is absolutely a bit of post-production plugins on his voice... all vocals are treated (gates, EQs, reverbs, modulation, etc). You can hear on the chorus a type of stereo / chorus effect to provide a spatial feel.
