Honorable Mention: Brian Hammond made the game show blooper reel on February 11th, 1999, when he bid on dinnerware $89, then $105, and $45 to the astonishment of Bob Barker.
This is one of my favorite pricing games as well! I don't mind the way it looks now, but I still like it. I've been watching these vids for some time and now I decided to be one of your newest subscribers!
@MSX Frankly I like the old set with the chromakey much better. Maybe Drew did the overhaul in 2014 because female contestants didn't like the chromakey because they were afraid their nametags would be covered up by it.
First fact is the main reason I hate this game altogether. Why can’t they just ban the game as a whole? I have imagined it not being in the main pricing game roster for several years.
Ask anyone who hasn't seen Clock Game would look no further than a 20 year contestant who on a 11/15/1995 episode claimed to Bob she's never seen it which prompted him to explain to her that he's played this game "FOR 24 YEARS". Quite embarrassing despite that she would later win the Showcase Showdown at the end.
I could easily win the Clock Game.Go by hundreds, then fity, tens, fives and ones.I hate Time is Money and Half Off.No one ever wins the former, and the latter has only one prize in it.They should have things like smaller amounts of money and gift cards or small prizes in some of the boxes.
I find the game boring. If people know how to play it, there's no real drama unless they screw up. And if they don't know how to play, it's painful watching them try to learn on the fly. The game bores me to tears. I didn't know they used it give away a million dollars however, that is a fun fact.
I love the set overhaul of the Clock Game.

Drew Carey possesses the original Clock Game prop.
He said as much on his Twitter.
Strange that this game was continued with a bonus prize added, but they didn't do the same with Poker Game, and ended up retiring it instead.
The Clock Game set is now shaped as a digital clock

Some contestants just don't know how to play this game.
I get so frustrated by this! People just start saying all kinds of random numbers rather than methodically getting to the right price.

They did one rule to half off: if you're right on all 3 of the prices you get a $1,000 bonus
The girl who won the million looked like she was on something...
