Ruah...ist mein absolutes Lieblingsalbum von Michael Patrick Kelly! Ein Meisterwerk - gerade wegen den leisen Tönen und Melodien, die direkt ins Herz gehen und nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Das Album ist mir heilig - man kann es nicht nebenbei hören, sondern nur mit kompletter Aufmerksamkeit. DANKE für dieses musikalische Geschenk!

Even after the release of BOATS which has many absolutely FANTASTIC songs, RUAH remains my number one. This album is truly inspired. I decided long ago that if I have a funeral wish, two songs will play there: your Salve Regina and George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. I have one tiny complaint though... why not let the birds on the record;) just kidding. Love this album 5 years in. eternal.
Ich würde mich wahnsinnig gerne mal mit ihm unterhalten. Über Gott und die Welt. Aber wohl größtenteils über Gott, über den Glauben, darüber, was das überhaupt bedeutet und was es mit einem macht.

Much better Album than ID, because it feels more authentic. The new one feels more Radio-tuned to make it commercial. I know artists have to make a living but Ruah feels like a peek into your soul whereas ID shows the talent to produce radio-fitted music.

I love the natural sound of Ruah.. I think iD as a live version or unplugged would be much better than the studio version. The song iD as the two men show for radio stations are great and fantastically honest. For me the real nucleus of MPK songs instead of the studio beats.
I think actually there are authentic songs on ID. Like
Friends are Family or Last Words or even Golden Age, but concerning songs like Voila or Awake - I totally agree to you.
