I was so overwhelmed after watching Part 1; couldn’t find the words to express myself. After listening to Part 2, I just had to comment. Can’t thank you enough dear Jyoti…..with these conversations, you’ve let us all dig into the deepest crevices of our hearts and get in touch with feelings we never knew existed! I say ‘We’ because I know I’m not alone in feeling this way!
Xulfi himself admitted at so many points that talking to you has given him the chance to discover so much more about himself and his CS journey.
In your own words, the purpose of art is to heighten our sense of self awareness that eventually leads to us connecting with the outer world in so many ways beyond our imagination.
Here we have the great Xulfi - so sensitive, creative, talented with his out of the box ideas and phenomenal music…and then Jyoti who is my all time favorite content creator and Reaction Queen - equally sensitive and intelligent. Both of you conversing, emoting, unraveling the layers of complexities that are behind each song…rather the complexities of life itself and how we experience it! It’s more like a conversation between 2 friends, each one understands what the other is conveying- even before the sentence is complete! Loved how the ideas have just flowed seamlessly!
I was always impressed by Xulfi the musician extraordinaire…today I came to know what an exceptionally amazing human being he is too! So humble, so inclusive and accepting, so perceptive of everything and everyone around him - even the energies he perceives. And how he brings it all together with love and sensibilities to create magic for all of us. ✨
If Coke Studio over all its seasons has been sheer joy to watch and listen to, these interviews with Xulfi are the cherry on the top! Couldn’t be a better analysis of the process itself, and the great mind behind it! Can’t wait for Part 3 ❤️

Every Xulfi needs a friend like Jyoti-someone who creates a safe space, allowing them to open up, be vulnerable, and express the deepest, rawest emotions without hesitation. And every Jyoti needs a friend like Xulfi-someone who understands those emotions, reflects them, and resonates with them.
You guys spoke about finding pieces of home in people and places we have never explored yet. And here I am, listening to you, feeling my heart open up, shedding tears with you, and realizing that in your words, I’ve found a bit of my own home here too.

Yaar Jyoti, app dono ne rula diya aaj. And how perfect was your response to Xulfi at 1:21:00. I think in this moment you just made him realise that they have now become part of him home too. And after having spoken about finding your home earlier in the conversation, how fulfilling that realisation must have been for Xulfi. I am sure he knew this already, lekin aisey present karna is baat ko ore unhe batana ke aap ja ke unhe milain was such a beautiful moment. Honestly, those words from you were so precious.
I’ve only reached 1:27:30 so far, after spending so much time at the earlier moment, and right now there are so many thoughts flooding my heart and mind. Pehle bhi thi batain during the conversation, lekin abhi to kisi ore hi level pe chal raha hai sab because of which I feel the need to share with you. Jaise unho ne kaha tha, that I’m not even thinking right now, yet feeling so much. Ore honestly Jyoti main bohot kam online baat karta hu, kisi bhi platform pe, kyun ke sab kuch itna polluted lagta hai kabhi kabhi. Lekin abhi aap se ek dost ki hasiyat se share kar raha hu. Dil kar raha hai ke ye video complete karne ke baad is conversation ko phir se sunu or sath sath jo bhi baat dil main ati hai use likhu, or kisi tarha se aap se share kar sakun, baat kar sakun.
And you know what’s funny Jyoti, it’s just past 2AM right now haha, ore sahi kaha tha, tokha har pasey, especially ye sab geopolitical agendas ka, jis ki wajah se ham sab connect karna hi bhool chukay hain, ke ham insaan pehle hain, ore ye imaginary map ki lines baad main banayi gayi thi humain ek doosray se door karney ke liye. Oof Jyoti, soooo many different thoughts right now ke kiya hi bataon aap ko.
Jyoti, since Xulfi himself has admitted that possibilities are endless, I am starting to think why not you collaborate with Xulfi for CS16 !!! Now we don't have to tell you in which areas you will be working, you are infact the queen of emotional exploration. There you go, another angle to work on for Xulfi for CS16 !

Hi Jyoti! I hope you are keepimg well. The song Aayi Aayi when I was listening and watching its BTS the thoughts which were coming to my mind that in many moments of my own life I was also a resilient, because it was the need of hour. If any art can touch this to you in this way, then what else you need. This is the best expression of your emotions. I teared up at the start of BTS of Aayi Aayi when Nouman started to speak. When Xulfi said about Jhol Song Journey that lets listen forget Coke Studio. Loved this approach that makes him different to others, the unique feature of his personality. This is the key point of this conversation. Mangi I knew him before he appeared in Coke Studio because after Kana Yaari I went to search our underground artists aroubd Pakistan and heard them in diiferent languages. So I am glad. I loved your and Xulfi emotional moments in this talk. Thank you so much Jyoti & Xulfi for this beautiful and detailed discussion :).
