Man… bring back the 2000s. What a time to be alive. Where gaming was still entertaining and innovative. Now things are just copy and paste clones of each other.
I remember exploiting WiFi’s and downloading music and movies online with my old PSP that thing could do way more than I expected. Now I got a Steam Deck ❤.
Remote play between PS3 and PSP was maintained, it's just that certain games had it... I played Blaz Blue on PS3, a game that was almost at the end of the PS3's life, via remote play on my PSP... that was the only game I had that supported it... on the back of the game boxes it should have indicated that the game was compatible with remote play.
You could play your PSP on a HDTV. Just like the Switch; I'd play on PSP at work (I'm old) portable then I'd get home and plug it into my TV and continue playing. Always seen it as a "hybrid console" but because it doesn't come with a "Dock" it doesn't count🙄
PS3 games were far more expensive, in terms of time, money, and resources, to develop than PSP games. You also can't simply magic all those portable customers to the PS3. Besides, the PS3 library was still pretty great, so no idea what world you came from. You're just selfish.
@@thelastofus2872 In his defense he was replying to someone who deleted their comment; they said that the PSP was taking games that should have been made for the PS3 (or something like that).
Recently dusted off my 1000 and took it apart and deep cleaned it - only right to give this beauty the love it deserves. I'd forgotten how premium this thing feels - it really still impresses just holding it. The only downside is the dreadful analog stick. I won't call it a nub - it's one of those words that just feels wrong..in a smut based way of course 😉
I had the original Invisimals game that came with a camera. I remember thinking it should have taken off as a viral game but nobody noticed it for how great it was.
@@gruntingskunk2237 well, the PSP 1000 is pretty comfortable because it's thick and will keep you off the ground. I can't tell you how many 3000s I've broken from just barely laying on them though. 3/10 don't recommend.
I find it funny that SONY's ads used to be so risque not their consoles are censored to the point that Nintendo actively advertises NSFW games via their newsletter.
Fun fact about GTA liberty city stories and vice city stories is that on the PS2 version some of the cars had hydraulics and on the pap version no cars had hydraulics. 💯
Since loading screens are a no no now, games are not compressed at all. Hence 100GB+ game installs now. No textures are compressed like they use to because we were limited to Carts and CDs. Ever wonder why your game download is less than half the install size? Yep, its compressed to save bandwidth.
Please, make the subtitles available if you can, even te auto generated, cause some of us have difficult hearing, and its even harder for the ones that english is not the first language, like me.
One of the best console libraries of all time, with some of the worst controls. A superior screen to any other console handheld of the era, rich with 3000 model color depth. Shame about the screen door glitched graphics on fast moving 2d sprites. It even felt expensive...especially since it had the durability of a glass hand grenade. I own so many PSPs, and not a single one can power on and remain turned on. I've never felt so mixed about a system.

Man, to this day it sucks that Capcom canned that DMC game for the PSP. It would've been really cool, especially back then

Those metal gear 3d glasses looks super weird, I love it!
A pain to use which is unfortunate as metal gear acid 1&2 are my favorite mg games. 3d looked amazing

The PSP loves it when you play with its nub. But be careful, it doesn't like when you push its buttons.
Ahahahaah I forgot about the black and white commercial ahhaahah 😂 I thought it was funny lol. Good shit hahahah

I slept on the PSP quite a bit, mostly due to budget, and I regret that.
I slept on it for a while but it’s not very comfortable so I sleep on a bed these days.

Lair on PS3 also supported remote play and was the best way to play it until they patched out the motion controls.

Switch library is what Sony PSP 3 should have been. Psp had an awesome library, then they dropped the ball with Vita. Switch got it right.
You look silly trying to put your Switch in your pocket
I think someone forgot that Nintendo actually had 3D hardware way before Sony, albeit not their greatest effort.
this isn't Virtual Boy erasure, I just forgot to be more specific that I was talking about handhelds haha
