If I'm in the same situation as Mikasa, I would be maybe like "Holy shit, I realized how fucking scary he is when he's doing the heroic acts by stabbing the kidnapper to save me in my childhood." after noticing the red flags. I'm glad that I'm not Mikasa.
@@wonderfuldoor1403 My reaction to this in the anime _was_ the same as Mikasa's lol. I didn't see that as odd because I mean...they _were_ bad dudes. Years later, my ass: "....okay. yea, that was definitely a little off...has he really always been like this???"
@@yuukichan12 This is probably because we have the same survival instinct telling us is okay to kill guys that wants to kill us, so we just over looked how fucking crazy he is. This realization makes me think that maybe it's common for a human to think this way at such a young age.
This is fucking hilarious and AoT is my life, but man.... hearing it in dub is brutal lol
Brutal? Like in terms of intensity?
@@DragonTamer17 AoT is definitely brutal in terms of intensity, but dub kills me because it just doesn't fit well with the story line. The emotion that the sub gives is absolutely incredible. I can't stand watching any anime in dub, its horrible. It makes even the most badass/powerful characters sound like whiny little babies. English voice actors, for shows/movies that are originally in a different language, need to step up their game. my opinion though! To each their own, ya know!
Eren: Brat Who Killed Sasha, you’re coming with me.
Gabi: My name’s Gabi, y’know?!
Eren: Okay, Brat Who Killed Sasha.
He is(nt) normal
THE DUB I LITERALLY CAN"T
Right? It legit sounds like a Slap on Titan compared to the normal Japanese audio
IT SOUNDS LIKE A PARODY I HALF EXPECTED THEM TO MAKE FANDOM REFERENCES AND DEEZ NUTS JOKES 💀💀
Erens villain arc shows what happens when someone realizes they have free will
intj 8w7, now that i thought about Eren more, he really was just using and taking advantage of everyone around him, so he could get the EXTREME Freedom that he personally wanted and needed in his own mind, and eyes
lol his entire character is about protecting his friends.
He lives in a world where everyone wants his friends dead just for being Eldians
@@lain5858 But alot of the decisions and choices that he made put his "friends" in so much more danger, and in almost unwinnable situations that they would have to fix with even effort because of what Eren did, also the "RUMBLING" that he was trying to do, rather he succeeded or not would've made every other state hate his state more, and that makes more enemies, what makes it worse is him saying "i don't know", when asked by Armin why he did "THE RUMBLING"
(and i'm not even talking about just "THE RUMBLING" like remember when Eren had his own squad in season 1 i think and nearly got them all killed because he didn't want to wait or listen.)
@@LordLLoyd1919
Eren love his friends but he decided to end the Titan curse for a better Future. He made that decision because he knew he is the only one with guts for it.
Anyone else wanted to keep the curse to be the younger generation problem to carry "the sin of the father".
That's why Eren was against Historia having a child to just eat her later.
That's the unforgiven World that Isayama crafted where the only option to end everything was the rumbling. On this narrative the world was already doomed from the start.
Like Ragnarok in norse mythology and the Great flood in the bible, Isayama already made this universe as a world who needed a restart.
Why do you think during 5 years of diplomacy They did not acomplished anything? And the entire world just like opressing Eldians even after 100 years?
Isayama just not did the 100% rumbling like he wanted on his original ending because his editor though the fandom (mostly Eremika shippers) would hate the ending and less money on merch sales.
Then he decided just make 80%.
Eren himself said : he is a slave of freedom
He can do anything literally anything to be free
Finally the edit that didn't make me cry.... Still i feel the need to defend him .. but won't do. Coz i want to move on yet all this love for him is binding me like ymir was for king fritz..
Eren meeting Mikasa was so cute omg
damn isayama was not subtle in hinting eren's nature but we all just looked past it LOL
I miss my first son 😭😭😂
Just realised adult men was being moped by a 10 year old who is a future genius idle maniac
Bro the way you cut Eren and Armins fight has me rolling
Come on that edit with Reiner made eren look like such a psycho lol
what ova when eren and mikasa goes to a picnic
Looking at birds will never be the same ever again. 🗿
1:21 the way he closes the door is creepy😬😬😬
1:10 bet future eren was speaking to him to save mikasa lmao
Eren's father saying *"I miss my first son"* sent me.
I love how we all overlooked just how crazy young eren was 💀
I don’t think we did 😂😂
Bro was just allways a psychopath 😂
It makes him even cuter
Nah YOU did. I knew this little demon was not a typical shounen characters that mental break down on top of Annie in the forest was when I lost hope for that boy and just wanted to see how it plays out.
A perfectly fine house, parents, everything is the way it should've be, and there is a weirdo who's obsessed with walls, spys on a innocent child who gets bullied and MURDER 2 MEN AND CURSING THEY WERE ANIMALS- LIKE carla be better question what the fuck she did with him
Bro really killed 2 dudes at the age of 8-10 and had the nerve to call himself normal
Well that was normal because he wasn’t a coward and saved a person, while others would just not interfere. He had a strong sense of justice.
@@jackapps2126lol no
@@jackapps2126 Even watched Naruto? MHA? They always "Spare others" because the animators know that if they showed a kid killing someone it would be effed up....
@@jackapps2126 you think a FUCKING 10 YEAR OLD KILLING SOMEONE IS NORMAL?????
@@abhabh6896I’ve seen MHA yeah, although don’t forget little Shiggy
I love Zeke’s face when Eren says “you had a little sister until that man fed her to his dogs” he’s like “ayo Eren wtf”
I actually never realized that until now
That line was so cold bro
I got chills hearing that
The english voice are weird 😂
I mean… Grisha forced Eren into this, so there literally no reason to pity him.
Eren was the son Grisha wanted in Marley. Zeke was the son he wanted on Paradis. It’s kind of tragic to think about because Grisha couldn’t even catch a break with either of the families he started.
Damn never thought of this before
Agreed
well said, dude. well said...
Interesting!!!!

Eren: *starts talking about crazy shit*
Zeke: aight imma head out
right 😂
Zeke halfway down the hall “Here he goes again”
"Aaand thats my que to leave"
Zeke: welp. Eren's gone to looney town again. Thats my cue.
It was time for Zeke to leave. He had seen everything.
it's crazy how people were cool with how baby Eren acted in S1.
Well, yeah I actually forgot how bananas that boy was from the jump haha
yeah, but that's maybe because it isn't brought up so often again. Like, sometimes he randomly acts like a violent psychopath but then most of the time he just acts and thinks like a normal, average person, and him realising that he's a normal person is even one of the main plot points of the end of season 3 part 1. So I guess maybe he's a little bit inconsistent
Nothing crazy, everything was made for this exact effect. Just like you may know a sicko in your tight circle, but since your critical thinking toward this person is biased by your emotions and empathy for them, it would be hard to really see how much this person is twisted
@@talete7712He is just capable of the worst just like he is capable of the best, i guess that what makes him human. And i think that one of the points of this character is to show this duality in us. He is not a psycopath in the strict sense of the term
I guess they had equated it with the shounen genre and Eren being a stupid kid who doesn't know the weight of his actions. Then he grows up and we expect him to function with what he's learned through life than bam! He body slams a bunch of people
Just imagine if Eren was the first born
The Son Grisha always wanted
actually what makes eren such a free character is the lack of indoctirnation of grisha so no that wouldnt have been so different i suppose
grisha wouldnt of been able to control him tbh. He wouldnt just fall into line
No attack titan, no future memories/ability to not be controlled by the founding titan, would have royal blood so eating the king would just make him renounce all war.
wouldn’t make sense because eren is half of Carla
“I’d rather you not grow up to be an outcast”
“If she’s nice to me then we won’t have a problem”
No no this *is* valid
He's just like me
She was in fact, nice to him 😢
