I was able to record all the fabric mods and all the forge mods together without any major issues. But even so, play the mods together at your own risk!

@@Splendid.blended It's not possible to mix forge and fabric, you have to choose one or the other. But thankfully the majority of mods in this list are available for both mod loaders
@@Splendid.blended Apparently, there is a way to play both fabric and forge mods together in beta testing as of now. I will not share the link as I do not want to seem like a baiter. So, if you want to find the video for yourself, type “how to run forge and fabric mods simultaneously in the same instance” or something along those lines. A video by Ksauce is the one you want to watch. Just remember, download anything at your own risk. This is just the video I’ve watched, but I haven't tested it yet.

As someone who’s found enjoyment in vanilla for 10+ years, sound physics remastered is an absolute must have and adds so much to the experience. Hearing zombies and spiders echo in the ravine below is terrifying. I love punching a mob off a tall underground cliff and hearing their death sound from 50+ blocks down. Everything about that mod I like.
SPR is one of those mods that once you play with it you can't go without it
And add Ambient Sounds 5 mod too

A little note on better combat
is that it's a bit deceptive unless they've changed it
It doesn't have precise weapon collision is just makes the hitbox super big so you can't really miss

A nice mod if you want a variety of unique or vanilla mobs would be Alex's Mobs, it adds so much to modded survival and so many great animals/mobs! It's not for everyone, but in my opinion, it's the best creatures/animals mod pack. Great video tho and I love your style of content.

You did the Rotten Creatures mod not too long ago so I don't want to stack up on that too quickly, but I would recommend you check out Fish's Undead Rising for something similar with a few twists. This mod is really cool, but the wiki is unreliable and I'd like some help with an overview of the whole thing.

iron Armor will give you durability
where as the copper will give you the speed and mobility but with less durability.... it will be awesomely cool

Fresh Animations is one of those things i wish was just in the vanilla game. come on Mojang, put it in, add an option in settings to disable it for oldschool fans, and boom, perfection.
The stiff animations are nostalgic but Minecraft needs something better, and that would be Fresh Animations. I also personally would like to have the physics mod be part of vanilla, to an extent. Optimization/framerate might be an issue

I feel like, if the limit of repurposed structures' creativity is "What if [insert structure here] was in [insert dimension here]?", it probably shouldn't be so high on this list.
I mean yeah, but the criteria is "what's vanilla friendly" and I personally think the mod nails it in that aspect
When I saw it on other mod lists, I had the same feeling, but this one mentioned how they’ve literally been repurposed for other mobs- end cities become villages in the overworld, piglins get villages in the nether- and I do like that. As a lore junkie, I do like the implication that the same group of people traveled to all these dimensions and left similar structures. Not sure if it’s interesting enough for me to add to my own modpack (Yung’s Better series sounds like a better option atm), but I appreciate this video for giving a slightly deeper overview on its features.

1:54 this mod hella slows your minecraft down idk why it does but it was in my modpack and when i removed it my modpack gained hella lotta frames

What is fabric and what is forge? Does this have something to do with there being java and bedrock versions of Minecraft on pc?
Forge and fabric are mod loaders, there are others but these two are the popular ones. Bedrock has next to no mods available, not nearly as much as Java. If you want to use mods you will have to see what mod loader they support and download/install it. On curseforge, you can see supported mod loaders in the file section of a mod's page. I recommend searching tutorial videos to help you out with this

I use vanilla textures. The complementary shaders integrated PBR setting gives the blocks that 3d-ish look if that's what you're interested in

Like both forge and fabric mods? Forge and fabric cannot run together as far as I know, so unless the mods have ports for both mod loaders it's not possible.
If you mean game version, some fabric mods have support for old versions of forge and vice versa. But that varies of course, usually mods only have support for one or the other
What's the name of the shader you use? I want to use it.
Complementary shaders! I made several tweaks to my shaders so it might not look exactly the same

there are mods in this list that despite being awesome aren't really vanilla friendly, like how is a core mechanic overhaul like better combat supposed to feel like vanilla minecraft 💀
I like pushing the boundaries of vanilla friendly, but at the same time I don't want to be misleading with my content. I've been thinking about renaming to vanilla plus in the future because of this 🤔

I use the vanilla resource pack, buuuut the complementary shaders I use have a setting called integrated PBR which gives most blocks a 3d-ish texture!

I'm sorry that's not possible. The versions have to match, you could maybe get away with mixing subversions like 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, etc. Resource packs and shader packs will *most* likely work across versions though
man, i wish i had java. These mods look so cool. Bedrock just has crappy rip offs or other cringy trend riding content

@@CrimsonGamingMC they probably won’t, seeing how the internet is now with clickbait and all that. Its mostly bad, but if you scrape around you can find decent stuff. I’ve got a few good things, like one called “morph pack” really well done and feels like a real java mod

Please, if you want a mod to take a look at, comeback to MC 1.19.2 and take a look at Project War dance instead. Best combat mod that no-one knows about.
