The interpretation it’s great 🤘🏼... I don’t see the problem with the guys, I love dream theater but is really nice watching other perspectives and this band made the stage shake 😮👌🏼
Sure they are great players and they souns but they'll never be the ones writing these songs. Don't compare performances, compare the music they write.
The songs sound more like they should while performed by Portnoy without DT than they sound while performed by DT without Portnoy. I don't like Mangini, he's style is too soft and predictable.

He is a beast master in the drums but it is also human. there is nothing wrong with being wrong occasionally....extreme emotion may be? It’s okay 🤘🏼
