It has been a yearly tradition of mine to read this every Christmas Season. I;ll now take great pleasure in making this audio version part of that tradition! Thank you and a Very Merry Christmas!
My tradition is watching one adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol' each day until Christmas Day. I save 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' for that day as it is my favorite and it was the first version I ever saw. Back then I didn't know it was based on a book and just thought it was an original story the Muppets were doing. I was very young at the time.
This helped me to get through the whole book 5 times quicker than it would have taken me to read it. thank you sooooo much! I suck at reading books with difficult English because my mind goes elsewhere 😂😂
There have been many retellings of this story since this original. I'm glad I finally took the time to enjoy it. The language is a bit difficult to understand at times because it is mid 1800's Victorian English, it is still an enjoyable story.

American accents are no good for Dickens.... period !...it's a classic English story
Bah, humbug!!

An American audiobook?!?. Blasphemy
You are a real Scrooge!
Should only be read by an English narrator, doesn't sound good with an American accent.
Go to Sir Ralf Richardsons narration 1965.
Don't be such a Scrooge!
U are good at reading but i think it would be better with an english accent as it is an english play but you are good
