If I remember correctly, in a press release Caleb mentioned how the song is about giving up the second you make a mistake, hence the lyric "one bad day, I lost my shit and called the week off." The same idea can be seen in the rest of the lyrics. and some lyrics like "it'll pass" sound like he's debating or reassuring someone over this. and "this is the last time I feel like this, or at least I hope it is," sounds like the singer acknowledges this negative view on life and wants to stop it
Listening to it with my beautiful girlfriend and enjoying it we both think its a good song she introduced me to the bands and i love her so much that i started listening to them so we could both have fun and listen to them together :)
