This is most likely the only 435hz Whelen left in Central Oklahoma. It’s sad that they changed the tone of the Whelens overtime. I love 435hz Whelens It’s also sad that 2001s are starting to replace the Whelens in Yukon.
Didn't know Yukon had a 435hz siren left. Might have to come to this one sometime. They used to only test for a minute and a half too and I don't remember them ever doing a double activation so that's new. Also, just for future reference to spare your time, Deer Creek only tests on the 1st Saturday of the month. They used to be 1st & 3rd Saturday but I called today and they said it's only once a month on the 1st Saturday
That Vortex is my favorite siren I have recorded ever. You should definitely record sometime before it gets replaced with a 2001. Also, Thank you for the new testing times for Deer Creek.
@@ĶaLeeceyChurnseyP-50 I’m not sure if Yukon is following through with replacing their whole system with 2001s so the Whelens might stay. We’ll see in the future though
It is sad. 2001s are overpowered. They replaced 2T22’s & 3T22’s in The Village. One of them replaced a Model 2 in Warr Acres Recently(IDK if the Model 2 is inactive though) And now they are replacing them in Yukon.
Omg 😆 you are a lifesaver there is still hope for okc

@@ĶaLeeceyChurnseyP-50 i actually agree with you on the 435hz i love them and grew up with them but i checked the math and that has to be okc
It’s near the border of OKC & Yukon (by Ranchwood Elementary)
Can I use your video for a playlist
Sure!

@AndrewWT5020 I hope they keep this one. I love this siren.
Sadly it got replaced by an SD-10
Really? Where did you find the news?
@ĶaLeeceyChurnseyP-50 i looked at the adress on google earth
DANG
Only reason the windup was fast is because these sirens have CentrAlert SC-3 boards in them.
Only 1 of their unit has an SC3.
@@OMNIWARN I thought the City of Yukon was on CentrAlert with RapidWarn controlling it?
@@STLMetroSirensMain nope, they are on CommanderOne. The Whelen’s will be replaced over time.
@@OMNIWARN Good to see that you guys have taken over their system, keep up the great work!
Thanks for the information
