That's due to Hank dying in the second one. Ultimate Hank Pym was an abusive drunk who got too full of himself. In the Ultimate universe comics, he drove Janet away with his toxic attitude. The Ultimate Marvel comics weren't that great, ultimately.

fun fact, in the dvd of this film they had a blooper reel where gags would be made of the character intentionally messing up their lines or doing something fun. for the scene when Pym is growing giant size they reversed the footage and had a loud long fart noise going as he shrunk and other had Thor telling th eother avengers the drink he has is made of dirt and human hair, all in character btw lol
