Kudos to Yoruba gidi. I'm igbo but born in yoruba land. I'm proud of your contribution to your culture and heritage. Great explanation from the theologian!
This is the most educative i have watched so far, thank you for engaging that teacher in your conversation, if you can belief in the Bible and Koran then you need to belief in these stories but we dont belief in our own because we have been made to belief that our owns are evil but as we know the Arabs and Israelis tried to present their own as the right one while others are wrong
Oro idile mi niyi latijo. Ki omo to kije ejola “ere” maa wa si ibi ti iya omo ati omo wa. Families are there to welcome too. No harm to the baby. O wa lara oriki wa “inini omo ere ere lapa “ But nowadays it is no longer happening.
I wonder what response of good parent would be if someone abducted your daughter for 6years and still impregnated her. Even a minor. I think that man should be in jail by now.
One of my mummy in Egbe Kogi State now in her late 70s once told me that when she was a girl, she and her mother with some other step siblings mistakenly mis calculated the time because of the full moon light, they thought the day had break but it was midnight, she said on their way to farm they will pass through Oja Egbe (Egbe Market) that midnight they met a very tall creature (iwin) around that matket she said the creature had a fire burning on its head, she said they ran and hide under table at the open matket, they said the iwin tried to touch them but it couldn't reach out to them because it was so tall that even when it bend, it could not reach them. They said after it waited for a while it went away.
The snake wrapping round the child is to signify that the child indeed is their child,so if the father of that child family worships a diety or believes snake to be their ancestor the snake appearing just signifies he's their son
Please I'm not trying to teach you your work but it's just an advice .. kindly introduce her to oriyomi amzat so they can invite the guy over so he will tells his own sat story and use tell the truths about what happen to this girl within that 6 years because I'm very sure he must know about what really happened to her for a whole 6 years
There is a compound in ogbomosho that I was told that snake used to come to a baby that's true child of the compound. Try and ask the people of ogbomosho
