Christ served the Church and He calls us to serve the Church also... in all her warts and wrinkles and sins.
John 13:14 "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet."
John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."
John 17:20 "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

With the few pastors who are actually interested in soul-winning and having
a move of God occur at their church it can be heaven on earth.
For the vast majority of others, who want a comfortable retirement of Cruise
Ships and golf courses they couldn't care less.
In my decades of experience the truth is maybe 1 out of 10 pastors have any
real interest in serving a church and God's people. Its very frustrating!
