    I was having so much trouble with my Schwalbe Ones that I was literally wondering whether I could continue cycling.....this video saved me. First attempt: one hour, broken tire lever, near brain aneurism. After seeing this: about 3 minutes! Thanks!!

    camagnlo WTO and a Continental GP5000 clincher. If you can get that on with levers you deserve a medal, without levers a peerage

    Brilliant, great to show the tougher road bike tyre during my flat without levers. This video worked. Thanks.

    nice tips, sounded like my father, retired bikemechanic with iron thumbs, though. The slighly pumped innertube is crusial, but I often let the air out before the last push with thumbs, especially with troublesome tyre/rim combo.

    Can you make the same video again using Continental Gatorskins , make sure theres a paramedic with sutures ready to stitch you up after , never mind thumbs they straightened metal levers like Uri Gella

      Was thinking of getting gator skins! Are they really that difficult??

    • @JWFitnessHealth
      @JWFitnessHealth 3 роки тому

      @@toomuch9762 short answer yes, but worth it because you won't have to take them off very often, also little tip get them slightly warm just above room temp same airing cupboard before fitting , cold are difficult, you'll still need levers but only for the last bit .

    What if you can't get the air out of the itube ? It's flat but a bit of stubborn air in there and the tire is tight as a drum w/no budge to get it off the rim. What is a good technique that would loosen it up, besides a ⛓️ saw ?

    Tyre won't come off, and now my fingers hurt

    Over the past 20 years I've usually only used my hands without levers for tyre removal with MTB tyres, generally Pythons. Some tyres are easier than others though! 26" Conti Double Fighters were a real challenge, but the 700C and 650B Schwalbe G-Ones I used recently just about fell on and off, but as tubeless they still managed to stay on the rim when riding.

    My tire is too tight for that

    That looks like a really soft flexible rubber. Mine is much thicker. I can't pinch mine.

    Some tires are too stiff to remove or refit using fingers only

    Great video, however, there is a difference between wired tires and foldable tires. Also, mountain bike and fat tires and more difficult to work with.

    Excellent video although you might have mentioned tyre direction too. (shame about the shitty music though, is it a legal requirement these days?)
