I grew up in this area and lived there for the first thirty two years of my life. So I noticed why you had to turn around at 21', having missed your left turn onto the Kortenhoefse Dijk. If you would've continued on the original road, you'd end up in the village where I grew up, Nederhorst den Berg.... sigh, the memories!
Beautiful roadtrip south of Amsterdam, you are very close to the big city but the region is rural, with a typical dutch countryside. Did some years ago a few bike trips around, had a great time there, nice to see some of these roads again through your video, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!

Beautiful country, beautiful video, but I couldn't help wondering...with all that water basically everywhere, is there a problem with mosquitoes and bugs of all natures, since many of them breed in water? Just curious in Vermont (a somewhat bumpier landscape).
not really all that much, they mostly breed in stagnant waters and all water you see is being moved around and has plenty of fish and other animals to eat most of the larvae
