The monster that looked like a frilled Godzilla (Jirahs) was in fact a frilled Godzilla. They made an ultraman monster by taking an old Godzilla head, a different Godzilla body, and adding the frill and some other cosmetic changes.

Also fun fact: in the original godzilla vs the ultra monsters godzilla was killed by doragory and alien hipporit. and after ace killed them it ended with ace honoring the king that passed just like this ending. I think Gudon is probably one of the harder kaiju to get footage for a vid when he is fighting another kaiju because not a lot of his scenes of him fighting are by himself.
