"then he was wrong about me" that line is very heartbreaking because steve was the only one who believed he could be something other than the winter soilder and that he could be something better and that if his judgement was wrong whats the point of being someone more and someone better and to bucky its scary he hates that he did all of that and hes guilty he is so full of guilt that he cant sleep.
I cried. From the very beggining I love James Barnes and his history. It' s amazing to see how he is developing in the movies. Love Sebastian Stan for giving "life" on screen to this character. Great job.
I know that the Russo brothers had their mind blow up by his performance in "captain america and the winter soldier"... Can't wait the moment when he gets his first award award, it's not a question of if, but when...
This is BRILLIANT! Bucky's story is so heartbreaking and Sebastian Stan's portrayal is so layered and nuanced. I love how he has brought this character to life! Bucky is my fave.
In episode 6 when the police officers addressed Bucky as "Sergeant Barnes", it was such a quick, subtle moment but I nearly cried, knowing what it must mean to him.
That moment when he saves those people from the transport and they thank him breaks my heart. He's used his strength to fight, for both good and evil. He's helped save the world. But he's never been in a position to use his strength to just simply save people. And his face when they thank him genuinely.
From a Happy Young Man to A Sad, Broken fighter. In someway, Bucky Barnes is related to all the grown ups out there, every boy and girl who are going through the adulthood. Bucky help us realize what it feels when we all shift from kids wanting to play the heroes to becoming a true "soldier" in the real world. . Bucky throughout his time as the winter soldier help us realize the true value of our inner peace after all the hardships and battles we went through. . James Buchanan Barnes, the Winter Soldier, will always be my favorite MCU character, no one can replace him nor his characteristics.
The story of these three is so amazing. I mean I aint gunna lie, I'm still mad at Steve for leaving them behind. But I think if he didn't, it wouldn't have allowed Sam and Bucky to really grow out of his expectations and ideas of them. Like Sam said, they were BOTH looking to Steve to tell them who they were, for a long time, and they had to let him go to both become who they were truly meant to be. And its not complete yet. They still have a ways to go, this series was just the beginning. I hope we get to see a lot more of them. Both actors only have a few movies left on their contracts, but I hope they either re-negotiate, or keep going with series like TFATWS which didn't count. I honestly don't know if I will be able to keep watching MCU content after they are gone.
Yes to all of this. I screamed at Steve for leaving and I don't even consider myself a huge Rogers fan. But I love how they handled it with these two. I was afraid they would make Bucky bitter or that he wouldn't care much vor Steve leaving, but they hit the perfect middle so far. Their friendship was awesome and I would like to see a few flashbacks, though I don't think they'll do those.
Honestly, at this point, after watching TFATWS, all I care about are Sam and Bucky. I developed such a strong attachment to both of them after their show. I would probably stop watching the MCU the day Seb and Anthony are done with Marvel.
I really saw a ten-minute long video about Bucky and I immediately clicked on it, no hesitation. In all seriousness, though, this was an _amazing_ tribute, I almost cried. You really did his character justice. This is unreasonably underrated, to be honest.
Bucky is one of my favorite characters. My grandmother died while WandaVision was airing (at 17th February 2021). When I watched Falcon and Winter Soldier... I felt every scene with Bucky. I felt his sorrow, sadness... and guilty. When Okoye said he was free, I bursted my tears out. Such a excellent series studying his character's past. Thank you so much for this work. 10 minutes of this was beautiful to watch. Can't wait for more!
Aggghhhhhhhh!!!!! 10 minutes of awesomeness!!!!! Bucky's story is a complex one and sooo layered. Bucky's been my fav. since I first laid eyes on him. Sebastian Stan does an amazing job portraying him.
Marvel does such a good job with the "Perfect Man and His Shadow" character dynamic between Steve and Bucky. Steve, as a character, needed Bucky to be his "Shadow Self" because he couldn't have a dark side. FatWS is a show about how that Shadow has to now become a 'real boy' because the Perfect Man is gone and only he remains. It's a struggle for the Shadow to find his own identity because he's only ever been the Perfect Man's Shadow. The good thing is that the Shadow can ascend to becoming his own man because he's already so interesting and well-rounded as a character. His journey is a fascinating one because he's growing into a person who can be good and do good now. The Shadow need not do shadowing things so much anymore. Bucky is an amazing character. Love him so much.
this is so ridiculously underrated this captures his life and his feeling and demons so perfectly you really got every aspect of his life and his suffering and everything he has lost. This is absolutely incredible and because i love bucky so much this really made me cry so hard love this
Did someone told you before that you have an amzing brilliant mind .This is amazing ,wonderful ,heartwarming video that just made bucky my favourite avenger. Thank you!🥰🥰🥰
This was amazing and so well edited! Thanks for making it, I really enjoyed watching it. Bucky's story is one of my favorites and while I really liked the new show, I feel like they "resolved" his issues/storyline too quickly. I think 90 years of what he went through would take more than a year to fix (or however long its been since he left Hydra). I think you captured his story perfectly.

It breaks my heart knowing what Bucky was so sad at iron mans funeral and at the end of the falcon and the winter soilder the book he had he apologized to everyone but tony will be the only name on his list because he will never get to apologize for killing iron man’s parents
No Bucky, part of the Winter Soldier is not inside you. That's just what Zemo said to manipulate you and Zemo is a liar. His nightmares are just a trauma response and prove he feels guilt like a normal human would. It proves he's a good guy and has a conscience, he feels guilty even for things which weren't his fault and he had no choice about. He was never part of you. It was a persona created by evil men through torture, abuse, brain damage and hypnosis on a helpess human subject. Its not your evil alter-ego. The real you is Bucky is a hero: selfless, caring, protective and and true friend.
The older black guy in this clip was in a Netflix show with anthony mackie called Altered Carbon (Season 2). Check it out if anyone gets the chance. Its a great show and an even better book series.
I just realised that Bucky sleeps on the floor, which is like Steve and Sam talking about coming back from battle and their beds being like a marshmallow.
It’s not only a comfort thing, but it’s a defensive thing too, if you’re sleeping on the floor, up against the wall, you really only have to protect yourself from one angle of attack, from above. So his development between the first and fifth episode, with the fact that he not only slept on the couch, but slept all the way through the night and didn’t end up moving to the floor, meant he felt safe, secure & comfortable enough to stay on the couch through the night - that’s a big deal. :D
He is also using a cushion from the chair as a pillow, recalling his words after Steve's mom's funeral: "We can put the couch cushions on the floor like when we were kids."
In ep 6 of TFAWS did anyone see how buckys face lit up when that guy thanked him for saving them. Because I don’t think anyone has ever thanked him before 😭
I always lose it when I see the Stark vs Bucky scene. When he said “I remember all of them” Tony takes it harshly, but it’s so much deeper than it seems.
In that scene, Tony was raging for the deaths of his mom and dad. When Bucky answered, I felt that he was remembering every single person, every moment, the guilty, and the innocent. That is a tremendous amount of pain to process.
I wish they had a way to like fix Tony and Bucky's relationship Marvel never really put emphasis on that after civil war cause they never met up in infinity war and certainly not in endgame. U know after Tony's death I'd believe he went to maybe pepper or even his grave to say sorry but I'd also like to see Tony forgiving him.
This is criminally underrated. So many aspects of his life and journey portrayed here. The parallels you've found and the order in which you've edited them is wonderful, and beautifully told.
