    Long time no see. Summer is in full swing, and the summer vegetables are getting better. This year is a year when there is little rain and it is easy to plan farm work.     [How to make steamed pudding]
    ・Raw materials
    300cc milk
    2 eggs
    30 g sugar
    A pinch of vanilla bean
    (Caramel)
    30 g sugar
    2 teaspoons water
    2 tablespoons hot water
    ・How to make
    First make the caramel. Put sugar and water in a saucepan and sear until it smokes. Add hot water to it and dissolve the sugar mass at the bottom over very low heat to make it liquid. Put it in a bowl and leave it to cool.
    Add the vanilla bean and warm the milk to about 60 degrees. Slowly mix in the beaten egg and sugar. Strain once to remove lumps. Gently pour it into a bowl of caramel and put it in a pot filled with water. (Too much water is safer because it will boil and get into the pudding.) 5 minutes on low heat. After that, turn off the fire and put on the pot hat for 10 minutes. Chill well. (If you don't have a pot hat, cook it on very low heat for 10 minutes, or put a toothpick in the lid of the pot on low heat to make a small gap for 10 minutes.)
