I couldn’t be happier for this set for the new Battlin’ Boxer support. I just hope we get Ring Announcer soon because it wasn’t in the TCG version of the recent Animation Chronicle.

The fire support is pretty good in this set. Konami should make more sets that are focused on attributes.
They kind of already did that with legendary duelist of the deep, and we also got one for earth even tho that was OCG only and was broken up into imports

Definitely hyped for this set, just built a salamangreat deck, and needed some of these cards to make this deck much helpful.
I am going to update my battlin boxer deck since its cheaper than volcanic.

It’s Light set. I’m hoping for no really Arcana Force as the cover and Melodious in the set.
Literally the only attribute they haven’t done is light. Earth was the one that originally had the Ishizu stuff and that got broken up into imports
Really like the Salamangreats for the artwork and overall design but I will also want to get the new Volcanic Doomfire because nostalgia.
I do like to update my salamangreat deck with the new support. Just gonna be fun getting the ultras from the set to build it. Lol

I wish they had reprinted Volcanic Slicer. Could've used a reprint on that. Also wish we got some of the volcanic cards from Tag Force. Maybe in the next battles of legend.

Im quite interested in the card selection and rarity choices. Sunlight Wolf is Ghost, much to my relief as anything other than a number monster for the binder, unless its an Alt. Artwork, i can simply ignore. As for the numbers, looks like you and I got some hunting to do .
Time to hunt some numbers for Alito and the number binder and hunt barian cards for the seven barians…
Finally ordered the cards i needed from this box, with duplicates for Salamangreat Reincarnation, Barian cards and numbers. Quite an investment, but worth it as some of the holos werent as pricy like those from magician box or darkness box. Also managed to get Pyro Phoenix: Starlight Rare, missing that rarity to complete the Salamangreat archetype… cant wait for the cards to arrive
I’m taking a wild guess and say the next legendary duelist set will be focused on Earth attribute archetypes.
actually TCG skipped earth, it was suppose to be morphtronic, isizu and amazoness. instead we got those as imports

@@muri4277 Maybe someday we’ll get new Dinowrestler support. Then again, I already got my favorite in Giga Spinosavate. I use him as a spicy tech in my Transcendosaurus build along with Pankratops.
I think I’d want the new Salamangreat stuff. I could also go for the reprints for that archetype as well.
Battlin Boxers would be my second choice, then the Volcanic.

Hey Cyberknight for these deck build packs would it be possible for you to stack the cards by type instead of rarity like a pile for volcanic s , bb, and salamangreats or what ever cards support them?
Which one do I wanna build!? I have lists for BOTH Volcanic AND Salamangreat, using the new stuff! So those are what I wanna build.
I think this is the first reprint of Balelynx and Roar since the structure deck. Great reprint choices!

@@garyfawcett7201 I think the only card I didn’t see that a new player would absolutely need is ironically Sunlight Wolf. Falco is a “maybe” card, but still useful.
@@cruderschmidt yeah, Falco is really good for recurring spells and traps, and gazelle. Sunlight wolf as ghost rare was unexpected

Aside from the ghost rare only buy this set, not the singles cus the commons have really good resale value; preferably get the blister packs on sale cus the pulls are insane and you'll have a way better chance to pull a ghost.
A lot of rares like the volcanics and the link 4 are being re printed in secret and ultimate within the next year or 2 so sell them and keep the commons as they'll see the most value increase across the board..
I just finished opening the last of the blisters that came in today off ebay. In the first 9, I pulled a ghost and by blister 100 (pack 200) I had 2 along with countless ultras including at least playsets of everything except a few of the boxers; 4 link 4's and at least 4 of each volcanic ultras though.....
Just did the math and without the ultras and ghosts, I still made my money back; this is insane. (again these are not box pulls but blisters pulls and that's why the ultra and ghost pulls are so ridiculous)
thoughts on sunlight wolf getting the ghost rare, and why it could have been a better card like say a volcanic or heck surprise the tcg with ghost rare blaster dragon ruler to say hey he maybe coming back to 1 soon ?

The only ghost rare I've seen from this set is salamangreat sunlight wolf and revzcards pulled it

Despite I like fire, I don't feel the set. Mostly reprints of cards that didn't need it really, and the new support cards for the archetypes are not bad, but also not good. They are somehow like a not guarenteed "structuredeck" booster, If you know what I mean. Perhaps I'll grab some singles.

Great pull. You got 6 ultra rare from one box. I can't wait to get my in 2 weeks. Also, maybe you can say something more exciting when you get a ultra. When I pulled a quarter century rare in the Duelist Nexus pack, I said "sweet baby Jesus!".
No negative feedback if you want free boxes, a lot of cards no one need or want.

Agree, and most of the time it's reprints and cards you will never use. In the end u end up at Tcgplayer ordering singles anyway.
