I am so happy to finally see Adam Jacobs as Marius posted on UA-cam. I went to NYC to him perform in Les Miz with the great Lea Salonga as Fantine. They were great in Les Miz along with the powerhouse Drew Sarich as Jean Valjean.. Perfect cast for a great musical..
I think he is so great. Saw him in person. Real star quality. I think he will go very far - I hope, But here - he is over-acting a bit in this song. This is a moving, emotional song. He projects it a bit like Anthem in Chess. But can't wait to see more.
i prefer the street thing tbh. instead of the chairs and tables, theres candles. the candles are later blown out---it symbolizes something that used to be is now gone forever---now all that remains is an empty stage with marius and one candle. its more symbolic.
If his voice wasn't already beautiful enough, Adam Jacobs is like the most gorgeous man ever! =)

Why'd they take away the chairs in later versions? This here makes more sense than the standing in the street thing.
And his voice is beautiful.
