I also like when they played this at the senior breakfast and Brandon started reminiscing about Emily. The next episode was sad when Scott shot himself. I remember some good friends that became distant like David and Scott. One year or even one summer can change people. We meet new people and things are never really the same again. That goes for best friend relationships and also romantic ones.
My daughter went to that high school. Torrance High. I know exactly where that stage is and have stood there. Also Sunnydale high. It was very surreal for me.
I saw this when I was little, my sisters were older and watched this show. For some reason this episode stood out to me the most, I remember her singing. Not sure why I liked it so much lol trying to watch the whole thing on Paramount but some episodes are missing, so I’m here. Thanks for posting this!

dylan shouldnt dumped her for kelly /brenda was cute all dressed up that way , i see that is what dylan liked. kelly just messed and played with dylan heart, because he started drinking, and acting strange when brenda left for londan.
I think Christine said precorded these songs in a studio before the episode aired she said she just kind of winged it. Then they played it on speakers across the quad for all to hear her sounding off key she so embarrassed. So she really lipsyncing to her own singing.
It's a pity Christine Elisse was never made a full time character. Brandon was a lot more chilled and spontaneous when Emily was around. It would have been interesting to see where the show would have gone.
I might tihink it is, because the voice that sound like brenda's voice, actually sound like the same voice of the girl that sang in the movie shannen doherty played a singer. And she was the actual singer of the songs in that movie
Love this type of doo wop music. There is a song that plays at the Peach Pit, the episode: She came through the bathroom window, it plays in the background with Nat and this girl name Ginger season 3. Been looking for the song but I can't find it or what it's called.
I think when David talks to Scotty to cool it with the guns and Emily's singing in the background and you know what's gonna happen to Scott is really haunting and sad. Oh, I know.
