Love watching you do nails! Two questions: 1). How do you keep your brush from lumping up w/ acrylic wiping it off in same area of towel? 2). Do you ever get to the states for teaching & if so, where primarily?
Tfs. I have the display thingy bobs, and I've tried using blue wall tack to keep the nail in place....... my nail bounced across the room. Suggestions, pls? Love your creativity.
bisque is a kind of clay, the bisque soups are traditionally made in a clay pot, it is rough and porous and not glazed, so it corrects more and more flavor similar to cast iron pans but more so.
Tristan Smith Yay! I'm glad someone else got the answer correctly! This is also info on the etymology "It is thought the name is derived from Biscay, as in Bay of Biscay, but the crustaceans are certainly bis cuites "twice cooked" (by analogy to a biscuit) for they are first sautéed lightly in their shells, then simmered in wine and aromatic ingredients, before being strained, followed by the addition of cream." From Wikipedia.
Yeah Adam is right, bisque is french, it is usually a soup of lobster 🦞 ☺️ (I’m french) and we call it « bisque de homard ». Btw, I always love your videos sooo much! You are the best! I wish I could get a full set of your wonderful work someday! 💗 xxx Vanessa
Question I just watched your new video today with your all your new products that you got. But all the stuff that is in the background now my granddaughter's just flip backwards over all of it and get so excited to see behind you and everything that you have is there anything in those and if there is do you get to use them
Do you ask your clients what color acrylic they want or do you have one you use most of the time? Also what is longest time a client should keep getting refills before they need to soak off the whole acrylic?
This is great to see how the acrylics look, could you also do this with the Gel polishes?? I know there is a lot to choose from but maybe just a few at a time. I recently ordered some from you and had no resemblance to the photographs. Not easy to show true colour through a photograph.. I know!!
i really want to order but the shipping cost almost as much as my order . do you ever do free shipping or free shipping after you spend a certain amount? please let me know so i know when i can place a order .. thank you so much 😍😘
I want to order some of your products but I see it doesn't deliver to the United States. It only has Ireland and United Kingdom...is there any other way I can purchase to be delivered to the United States? ..... I love all of your nail work, it's amazing!!! You are a pleasure to look at in UA-cam And you have such great personality. I just love you and how you inspire others as well. God Bless you always 😚😚😚😚
Sara R Hey Sara, check out the description box. They list several websites there, I think you might need to use a different site to be able to order from the US. :)
EndingsAreHard They have a Naio Nails-USA, I ordered a few things and they delivered it pretty quick and their prices and products are awesome !!! Love ❤️ Naio Nails. Thanks 💞🇺🇸💞
Sara R i just went to order something from the USA website but shipping was just as much as my order ! i wish she could do a coupon code or free shipping after you spend a certain amount of money
Siana Repmad I know what you mean, it's a struggle a couple of my friends have here in the UK. That Warm Beige shade she has on is actually pretty dark in person, but obviously I don't know how dark your nail beds are. There must be US companies which have a range of darker cover pinks, obviously they have a huge market compared to the UK.
Do you have lifting issues with these cover powders at the cuticle? As I was taught you don't want to use cover powders at the cuticle because the pigment effects adhesion. So, very interested to hear! :D
Janelle Raffles No, these are the same powders she uses on herself and all her clients, so I think it's fine. Certainly products improve all the time too.
Just opened a salon. Would love to try your products that my client's love im currently using ugly duckling its ok but clients want more. Any suggeation?
It looks like a size 12 brush ,maybe a 10 ,looks like my size 12 though but I think it depends were you get them from as I have a size 12 from one company and an 8 from another and they look the same . Not sure on the ingredients of this stuff but I use it with no problem and my allergies are off re scale
The only pink I have is the one I got in the acrylic starter kit from Naio, and I didn't really know what I was choosing. I got Blush Pink, and I really don't like it! I've barely used it... it's too sheer to cover anything, and a very bright pink. Oops. It's good you've got this video now so I can see what I'm choosing better! I'm imagining Soft beige or Cameo for myself as I have very pale skin (NC15 in MAC foundation if that helps anyone!) I think warm beige would look daft on me as I never tan :)
Is it completely inappropriate to bring your own acrylic powder to a nail salon? I like the salon I frequent, but they don't have the colors I'm looking for.
Oh man, I only have a certain amount of money left on my prepaid credit card and I really want 2 cover powders and the gel top coat 😣 mmm I can only afford the top coat and one cover powder ☹️
Can you make gems with Naio Nails products? I've seen bunches of different people creating liquid gems (stones) with other products and one person started with Naio Nails cover beige. I'd love you to do a video on how to use your products to make them! oh, I love your teaching method and you're artistry. You are an amazing artist. Blessings!
Bisque is a type of porcelain that's not been glazed, I'm pretty sure. And this video helped me figure out which color is closest to my natural nail, assuming the camera picks up the pigments correctly. Thanks! =)

Love watching you do nails! Two questions:
1). How do you keep your brush from lumping up w/ acrylic wiping it off in same area of towel?
2). Do you ever get to the states for teaching & if so, where primarily?
Yes, Bravo! Bisque is a seafood soup :-) Luv the cover pinks !
Gosh I wish I could go to your salon to get my nails done! You are awesome! I love you and your videos! tfs👍👍👍👍
I love this! I'm learning so much. You seem to answer every question that comes to my mind. I love you Kirsty thank you so much xxx
What number brush are you using?
Bisque is also a unglazed china, like porcelain.
hey Kristy, what size brush do you usually use for faster application?
Porcelain also has a shimmer to it, it only shows up in the sun its absolutely stunning but def worth noting as some may not want the shimmer 💖
Oh my God ! You accepted my sugestion about caption in portuguese!!!! Thanks a lot !!!! Kisses from Brazil 🇧🇷!!!!!
Kirsty where did you get the tip holder/display from please? X

Bisque is a cream based soup made with shellfish, more times than not made with/from lobster.
You answer all my acrylic needs I love u
Thanks for the work that you are doing for so.

Tfs. I have the display thingy bobs, and I've tried using blue wall tack to keep the nail in place....... my nail bounced across the room. Suggestions, pls? Love your creativity.
Do you ever use stamping plates? I know you are a fabulous artist, but I was just curious. I made a video stamping with a latex glove.

hi thank you for your amazing video.... What number brush are you using? because it's not in your description???? thank you
I keep meaning but forgetting to ask, do you know what "Naio" stands for or represents? I've always been curious lol.
How can anyone possibly dislike this video?!
Making an order from you soon! Can't wait!

Love your videos! You are so fun to watch, and I always learn something new.

I was just wondering whether the soft beige acrylic would work to do an ombré nail?
Thanks for doing that now I can choose what I want !
HI kirsty what the reason you would use those acrylic colors instead of using original acrylic?
Yeah Adam is right, bisque is french, it is usually a soup of lobster 🦞 ☺️ (I’m french) and we call it « bisque de homard ». Btw, I always love your videos sooo much! You are the best! I wish I could get a full set of your wonderful work someday! 💗 xxx Vanessa

Wonderful tutorial Kirsty😍😍😘 tfs
i just got warm beige...shell and bisque they are lush
What beige would you recommend for a Hispanic with a more olive undertone?
Is there any darker pinks? It's hard to find one for dark African-American skin.

Thank you so much 😊 I really appreciate it!
I personally don't like that dark /hot pink on anyone, especially on dark skin. I think the lighter/clearer acrylics look beautiful on you.
Siana Repmad hello did you try the warm beige color from this vid?
try adding a bit of White Powder to the Intense Pink that is what they use where I live here outside the Atlanta area.
My favorite color is warm bege too!!
Am in South Africa Jhb, where can I get hold of your range Naio & your acrylic covering pinks here
Do those pinks come in gel as well?
Hey Kirsty!
How can i get this acrlylic foundation? They are awesome. I'm live in Italy. Can i get they on website? Send to Europe?

can you show the powders in the acrylic kit with natural, opaque pink and clear?
Do you have lifting issues with these cover powders at the cuticle? As I was taught you don't want to use cover powders at the cuticle because the pigment effects adhesion. So, very interested to hear! :D

I would like to know too as I have a bad allergic reaction to the brand we use in college :(
It looks like a size 12 brush ,maybe a 10 ,looks like my size 12 though but I think it depends were you get them from as I have a size 12 from one company and an 8 from another and they look the same . Adam is right. Bisque is a creamy soup. Typically seafood based, most well known version is probably lobster bisque. :)
loving the hair!!!!!
I love how you say color
Your lips look lovely, very natural looking :) a lot of people go too far but yours are pretty unclockable good job
The color 'barely there' is never in stock! I need it bruh!
