Nice figures. I have never, ever understood why people think that 'The Exorcist' is frightening. Every time I've seen it, it makes me laugh. A lot. I think that it's the overall serious and overblown tone of it. Like most horror movies nowadays, it is not scary. Shakycam and jump scares do not a horror film make. 'The Cabinet Of Doctor Caligari' (1919). That's scary. So is 'M' (1930), 'The Black Cat' (1935), 'Night Of The Demon' (1957), 'Quatermass II (1957), 'Peeping Tom' (1960), and 'Quatermass And The Pit' (1967). All frightening, because the makers all knew what upset people. And acted upon it, in often subtle ways.
Okay Annabelle does not have parts of her face missing. That was red blush that was on her face. If you get to see an actual Annabelle doll you will notice she has big circular spots that are red it's from blush. It's how they designed your face. Because the original Annabelle doll is actually a Raggedy Ann doll. In the Raggedy Ann doll has the circle blush cheeks. So they made the Annabelle doll to kind of resemble Raggedy Ann doll. But only a little bit different because it's not a Raggedy Ann doll in the movie it's an actual porcelain doll. And technically I think she's supposed to be a ventriloquist dummy.
I like clowns, so I also don’t find them scary. But possessed dolls scares the tar out of me 😂. Except for Chucky and Tiff, but that’s a bit different. That’s like soul hopping or something.
They are cool & I enjoyed the horror globes that 5 below had I don’t like clowns 🤡 and porcelain dolls I don’t like at all but everything else for Halloween is cool for me … Happy Monday Paul & Shannon 😊if you come across the Horror snow globes from 5 below they are cool
