Thanks for the tour. I’m looking to buy one too!
Everyone has at least one junk drawer! 🤣 love the boat!
At least one!! 🤣
Must kinda suck having to go topside to get to the aft cabin in bad weather, but other than that a fine vessel, very well laid out. Thanx for the walkthru!
Luckily we have the cockpit fully covered in bad weather, so even at the worst we stay dry inside :)
After looking at again it makes sense you'd have some removable panels for the bimini. Stay safe, happy sailing.@@SailSwizzle
My first visit to your channel and I am blown away with this tour of your boat, no a yacht, that ended its production run in 1978. Just friggn awesome. If I may ask, what hull number is your 35? I know you have done work on her so I'll watch all you videos to catch up. But I have soooooo many questions, like when and where you got her, where are you now, etc. Thank you for posting this video, you are living on a piece of real Hallberg-Rassy history !!!
Helloooo and thanks for the compliments!
She is hull #271. We got her in Singapore, she was left in a marina for several years with no love so it took a bit to get her up to par. Since this video we've hauled out and done paint and varnish ALLL around. We're in langkawi now for visa stuff then back to Thailand for diving. Heading to the Mediterranean in January :)
Cheers and enjoy the rest of our adventures! More to come soon
Did you buy her without the teak deck? I’m currently looking at buying one but the teak looks like it is at the end of its life.
Without teak, yes. Here in the tropics, the teak tends to get too hot to walk on!
Interesting to compare with naiad 34
Thanks for boat tour.
Very intresting.
What is this she nice big boat type and size?
This is a Hallberg-Rassy Rasmus 35ft. She is from 1974!
@@SailSwizzle Thanks for your replay and answer.
I read about HR35, she is long keel boat. Quite slow?
@@janisspalvins677 she has a long keel but big sail area so not as slow as you would think, although she's not really a race boat.
@@SailSwizzle Thanks for your clearly answer and explanation.
Have a Good Day!
Hallberg-Rassy Monsun 31 here. Love the Rasmus too. Beautiful boat guyz!
Monsun was ALMOST our first pick! Cheers and thanks for following :)
