Am so happy viewing this special video. I just started my own farming yesterday with a total of 108 yams. I will not allow this divine development pass me by. Kindly get me updated on how to manage it because i want to develop other crops. God bless you my able instructor. Indeed knowledge is power!
I loved every moment of this video... Finally a complete guide with clear instructions. I'm planning to grow some of these in May, and I have no experience growing them, I'm a new garderner but very passionate about learning how to grow my own food. I am so happy I found this video... Definitely subscribing.
It's very a good method that can help someone who has not gotten any land to practice farming and also saved me from cost of buying bamboo sticks. thanks so much and God bless you.
Hi thanks for your info. I tried the bag method last season but did not work. BTW, I'm in England. Just experimenting and plan to do same this year. I love this sample. But is it necessary to use wood ashes? Do I have to cut the yams into segmented pieces? Do I simply look for yams that are already coming out with stems?
God bless you for this , in the uk Bags are also used to plant potatoes and sweet potatoes that is harvested in about 100 days this will provide work for unemployed city dwellers
This is wonderful! Quick question please...did you mix any manure like chicken drops or fertilizer with the soil? If not, can I mix dried chicken drops with the sand ? Finally can I start to wet the planted yam immediately.?
How often do I need to water the yams when there’s no rain? Because i have plans to start by January next year and I want to plant throughout every season non stop… i more worried of how to sustain them through dry season… please I’d need your advice 🙏
Very well. Can you plse show us a harvesting video. How long does it take from this time of planting to harvesting time, assuming an adequate water supply?
Bro I enjoyed your video but how do you apply you fowl dropping and when ?? ...can you mix with your loamy soil and water for a week before planting ..u need your view
What a kind hearted man you are, showing this, at probono.

This is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing...was going to ask about the soil you are using. So if it has that much sand it is ok to use.
The thing is, I used what was available to me. Those with access to better soil should go for it. Usually loamy soil is good

David from Sierra Leone. Can we also use construction sand?
Not at all. The chemical composition of such soil will definitely inhibit the growth of the yam
Which time will you be adding your npk fertilizer and also the type and also how many times
Thank you so much
This is wonderful!
Quick question please...did you mix any manure like chicken drops or fertilizer with the soil? If not, can I mix dried chicken drops with the sand ? Finally can I start to wet the planted yam immediately.?
I didn't mix it. Just placed by the side of the yam. As it rains or during wetting, it disintegrate and plant absorb.
Please when to start to put water
How often do I need to water the yams when there’s no rain? Because i have plans to start by January next year and I want to plant throughout every season non stop… i more worried of how to sustain them through dry season… please I’d need your advice 🙏

Fantastic
Bro I enjoyed your video but how do you apply you fowl dropping and when ?? ...can you mix with your loamy soil and water for a week before planting ..u need your view
I applied mine directly by the side of the yam about a month after planting.
Hope we can use sawdust in the place of grass or leaves to mulch the yams
When is the right time to apply fertilizer?
More strength to you guys.
Well detailed video, how many months before you can harvest it..
Secondly can you reuse the bags
What if you don't have the yam that as start germinating
What kind of yam will i use? Is it new yam or old yam

Is it all natural soil or you mixed with Cement or something else, & do I need to water everyday?
Can I plant yams in bag during the dry season
Do you boo holes on the bags?
Nice. But isn't it necessary to perforate the bag so it won't retain excess water?
You've got to perforate the bags otherwise they become waterlogged. The bags i used were self drain though.
Pls I need answer to this, I was told snakes do cluster at yams green leaves, which is quite dangerous, pls how true is this
How can I get the seedings?
Can you cover the root with sawdust
Can someone use sawdust implacable of try leaves because we are in the raining season ,so it's hard to get try leaves
Yams need staking so how do you stake yams in bags?
How many times do you water a week?
Must it be Cement bag? Can't I use rice sack or other sack?
Yes you can use rice sack
Is that sand mixed with cement?
When do we apply fertilizer if we must. I be want to make due with Chicken droppings. How often do I do that.? Thanks and be blessed.
How do you support the vines when they begin to extend upward?
Can I cut the game in pieces before planting
The yam sets shouldn’t be too small otherwise your yield will be small as well
