Is there any warning about the powerbank requiring high discharge cells to safely handle the high current draw from the boost converter? If there's really a 66W output that's nearly 10A per cell.
i had 2 INR21700-40T from a project left and wanted to Build this Powerbank... it seems taht the Charging Curcuit only recognizes 2500 mah cells... anybody else with this problem_?
I think Hoco came after these appeared out of blue one day in the AliExpress. Who came first? Who knows? There were a few models with different configurations such as numbers of the batteries. But soon after they popped up, now they are not seen so much these days. It’s a kind of mystery product from deep underground Shenzhen China ha ha.
Well those are some obviously BS cells. 6000mAh? They surpassed Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Molicel, Lishen, EVE, and BAK! The Samsung 50S is already irrelevant!

I tested this with my Pinecil irons and the powerbank shut off irregularly. I think it does have some protection!

I love this channel
So do I. Thanks :) :) :)
How can the powerbank deliver 9v/12v from PD with a 3.7v cell? They are connected in 2P right?
Step-up converter.
Is it similar to hoco brand

Batteries of the same spec should be okay.

I got mine from Aliexpress
mm but shipping cost💀😢
@@Sadursha Just get a piece of factory made charger. That’s cheaper than DIY.
@@Tinker_Box mm thanks bro❤
Nice
We jave a somilar spot welder
Do you like it?
@@Tinker_Box initially yes. But after 2 yrs of use I notice welding power is reduced
@@markmartinez9031 Mine is exactly like that. It’s much weaker now.
@@Tinker_Box I haven't tried to open mine, maybe the battery is the culprit
@@markmartinez9031 yes, may be. 😀
10000 is max its only 2pcs, and they have less capacity than 5A usually more like 4a so its 8000mAh and its useless
its not useless if you have 21700 cells lying around

Right you are. Don't go for this one :)
