The second guy is an absolute unit. Took so much damage but refused to quit
it does raise a few concerns over his power. People like Ngannou and Lewis, or even Stipe could have easily finished the fight. Luckily though, Ciryl has a great style for his physical attributes.
@@darioam3329 It’s not necessarily a bad thing that he doesn’t lean into all of his shots as much as other Heavyweights because it means he doesn’t gas out and he’s never in a position to get countered.
When Robert Whittaker does the same thing, all these people who call Gane “boring” start creaming themselves.

@Holy Kafir derrick is weird though he picks the perfect shot to end the fight. Like he trained his uppercut for Curtis throughout his training camp then during the fight he did basically nothing and waited for him to shoot and when he did for the 2nd time he got smacked by that uppercut.

Definitely not for me, he has been my favourite heavy weight since the JDS fight, I love his methodical, technical style with his mixture of kicks and movement.
Can’t wait for him to piece up Lewis this weekend.
I used to watch him in tko in Canada. People just been sleeping on him and most "fans" of MMA only follow the ufc.

After what I just watched... I am more confident than ever that Ngannou terminates him in less than 3. He aint dancing around Ngannou the way he did these guys or even the way he did Lewis. Also, his punches will literally tickle Francis and he will return with bombs; like a man playing with a lion, they don't play the same.

Gane is possibly the most well rounded HW I’ve ever seen. I really like Derrick Lewis but if he doesn’t land his touch of death Gane has way too many options to beat Black Beast.
Yeah and with Gane in and out elusive footwork I don’t see Lewis landing anything. Maybe a few block swings but he has to get close enough for even that to happen.

He doesn't. If you notice gane was a lot less technical in these fights and a lot more aggressive. In the ufc he does not fight like this or he would get knocked out and he's about to fight derrick lewis so that's definitely possible.
Yeah compared to other HW he really doesn't have power. His technique and cardio make up for it.

You can see his development from these fights to his UFC FIGHTS he is definitely not going as crazy for knockout in the UFC which is smart cus he would get caught by better competitors but him and D.lewis great fight.

One thing for sure Gane at some time is having that belt.
Lets be honest, we haven't seen this kind of killer instinct from him too much in the UFC, hes been impressive nonetheless, but this just shows hes got it and the competition in the UFC is at a higher caliber than other places

He does. He just doesn’t commit a lot. I think he has a high level of control on his power output. He understands when to put power behind his strikes and when to go for the finish. If he doesn’t see a finish - he won’t go for it. That’s what makes him so tricky and frustrating for other fighters He’s content to make the fight slow and “boring”

Yeah I think Gane is the most technically sound heavyweight I’ve ever seen. Only thing I have yet to see him prove is if he has good take down defense as he hasn’t fought a wrestler yet. Also his power seems to be a little suspect.
