sammy has earned the starters net for sure. what kinda worries me tho is after a good second half of the season and potentially playoffs, they’re gonna lock up a goalie who has shown incredibly ups and downs with his play in his career. understand that woll can take over with time or act as a good backup, but if the leafs extended nylander at the peak of his value already, and sammy gets let’s say a 3-4 yr deal at somewhat market rate, that’s two big signings from this season that may never repeat their value again. not figuring out the long term goalie for the leafs always was dubas’s biggest mistake, among many imo

It come across to me that keefe coaches like he's scared of Cooper, Maurice. And the players are magnifying that.
Rangers gonna best up opponents on their way through the playoffs. As a Rangers fan, I didn’t even think much of the game leading up to it. Bad job by TNT to capture all of the fights. Barclay Goodrow didn’t even take the faceoff - the puck dropped and he skated to the biggest guy remaining on the ice. Dude is a dog!

Tampa, Bruins and Panthers are BEATABLE. Toronto media needs to stop pumping those teams tires man. We have a 60 + scorer, WE have a very talented Mictch Marner who is by far the best passer and set up guy in the league. Nylander can do it all. Tavares can cause a mess in front of the net. We have also added secondary scoring and toughness man. They also added a big body that has so far been noticable I think. His size messes with other teams setting up in OZone They can' no longer make that cross crease pass....The only issue is the players need to believe in themselves man. Too much anxiety I think makes them not play to there potenial. If they just stop respecting there rivals too much then maybe they can mentally be there. There the better and more talented team!

The problem is your 60+ scorer Matthews, best passer in the league Marner, mr do it all Nylander, and Tavares who can cause a mess in front of the net....they ALL disappear in the playoffs! That is why they will lose to the Florida, Boston and Tampa likes because they don't disappear in the playoffs.

I love the show, but I have to admit I strongly disagree with how you guys feel about fights. Barely two weeks ago, Chris Simon decided to end his life most probably due to significant brain trauma caused by all the fights he got in. And just now you're making the argument that fights should remain given their invigorating effects on a team. This holds absolutely no weight when compared to all the lives destroyed by them. The science is there, it's time to evolve. Until then, I bet it feels akward offering condoleances to families of deceased players.

Maybe Woll and Samsanov are like Price and Halak used to be. In the early years the Canadians pushed Price in the playoffs, and he'd play badly and they'd go down quickly, while Halak would play really well and take them further. Eventually, Price caught up, but for a while, Halak was better.. Maybe Sammy's better now and Woll's time has yet to come.

They’re trying to run the Mitch Marner driven power play without Mitch Marner. Look at it it doesn’t change. Timmins needs to go too. He can’t win a puck battle, he can’t play the puck and he’s orechecking like a forward and getting caught every time.

The reality of the game is not putting your 4th line against their 1st on a defensive zone face off. I don’t know what’s worse….kippers takes….or Sheldon’s coaching. Both are pathetic.
Too much about Reaves and his physicality for a guy who plays 10 minutes. Its a big problem when you have a 20 minute guy like Nylander who disappears after getting levelled once.
Why does Reaves bother you? The fanbase complained about the team being so soft, So they finally get someone who hits, fight stick up for teammates, And still here you are complaining. It's not Reaves problems Nylander disappeared Wednesday night. Why even bring bring Reaves name into it. The man has been playing great, but still there are haters like yourself. He plays for your team, for the logo you support, the way fans and the media talks about him, you would think he played for the Panthers and his name is Gudas. Go Reaves go, Go Reaves go.
The point is Reaves will not impact the game as long as the core guys pull a no show in the playoffs.@@Puckhog
@@edwardlea3413 Ok thanks for clarifying, Yeah i totally agree with you on that, unless the core four changes their game and stop being so scared of getting hit or standing up for teammates as well as themselves in the playoffs, and leading like they're paid to do, then it's another 1st round exit. First game in the playoffs this year, all four of them need to throw a big hit, looked pist off and change their game totally for playoffs. No reasons for them to be so scared anymore, management have Insulated them with a tougher team around them. So no more excuse. They still playing like they're all 19 yrs old kids, with all the same mistakes and lack of competitiveness, especially at playoffs time.

Fighting is fine but should ne a limit for players own safely on amount of fights per whatever games, A ufc fighter gets dropped they are out 6 months right away, tell me the difference
The differences?
- They're on skates, on ice, less grip
- Fights only last 15 seconds
-No kicking, elbowing, kneeing, ground and pound, choking
-They wear helmets, visors
@@jockejocke1 skates makes it more dangerous, helmets literally get knocked off first and being knoxled out is being knocked out also fights can last any amount of time.
You don't like fighting in hockey go watch something else...Stop ruining our sport.
