Everything looks beautiful, Valerie! It’s amazing how just cleaning, fluffing and tweaking a few things can totally make a room feel remade over. And I agree, I love using things that I had in storage before buying something new, it also gives me great satisfaction in seeing them come alive in a new space… as well as the room. I change sheets every week on Friday - it’s a big deal here in my house. Clean sheets, pizza and a movie! Much better than date nights used to be back in the day. Ah, getting older. 😂 Thanks for another great video! Have a great weekend.
Haha! I love it! There is just something so cozy about climbing in freshly washed, crisp sheets! It’s the best!! Funny how a deep cleaning can bring almost the same satisfaction as buying new things 😁
I wash my sheets once/week. usually on Saturdays. I'm single, so once per week is good, but definitely never go longer because it's just not fresh enough to feel like a peaceful retreat, IMO.
I’m a weekly sheet washer here too. Every Sunday, feels so good starting the weeks with fresh sheets. I just switched to linen this year, and wow! What a difference.
I'm usually in pain or get there with minimal work, but the last 3 days have been soooo amazing and pain free!!! I've been cleaning like a crazy woman and it just feels so good to have a dust free space!!❤❤❤ I live in Arizona and within minutes of cleaning a surface it's covered again..... very annoying 🫤 I want to try an air purifier but we're solar so need to shop around for a low wattage one!🤞
Indeed, the battle against dust is an ongoing one. I have learned that dry dusting with a swiffer or vacuum before wet dusting is very helpful. Also its highly recommended to use pre moistened electronic wipes for your tv, you could damage it when you spray the screen directly.
Santa Cruz?! I am in Campbell, grew up in Los Gatos, and my mom grew up in Santa Cruz. Had no idea you were in my backyard. Thank you for your content!
I change my sheets every two to three days. Love to crawl into a clean bed! Fans are the worst. I clean the blades weekly. I have hardwood floors and swiffer daily because I have a hubby and a puppy. They are worth it.❤️
I was just so happy to see I’m not the only one with dust! I hate dusting, because it comes right back. The stiffer helps though by trapping it. I have found that the rooms I have ceiling fans in are much dustier than the others, but dark furniture doesn’t help either!
I wash the sheets once a week. Something I have been doing since I was a teenager is, I flip my pillow. I don’t sleep on the same side. I turn the pillow over (I have the two pillows on the bed). I started doing it as a teen because I had pimples and wanted a fresh side each night. Now it’s because I drool in my sleep. 😹😹😹😹🤤🤤🤤🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Love the dog and kitty playing. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Aw thank you, we love our pets and they are ALWAYS playing together 😆 I love your pillow trick, I am constantly flipping mine in my sleep, I am such a toss & turn(er) 😫
Oh my gosh! I can totally relate to the dark furniture dust...same here. 30 minutes later...dust..😖 I usually change our fitted sheet once every 10 days or so. I don't like a flat sheet so I don't sleep with one. However I do change my pillow cases about two to three times a week. I kind of like having clean pillowcases against my face. Love your videos Valerie❤
I really think it’s the pet’s, I have 2 and I need to dust every week or every 2 weeks. Also having a good seal (gasket) on the windows prevents the dust to get inside. My friend just got new windows and she says it really has helped! I wash my bedding every week.
Hi Valerie 👋 I mastered a pot with dried florals thanks for those tips ❤ I brush on some matte mod podge on my glossy pics & it totally matifies them. Coming up on 80k Congrats 🎉 I think I remember your very 1st video about coffee table styling many years ago❤
😂 That is talented..licking there names! That’s great!! We clean ours once a week occasionally we get to busy and go2 but never longer. I am confused by the amount of dust in my home … like really I just dusted 😮😢😂
I wash my blankets once a week.. An air purifier help has help me A LOT with the annoying dust.. I got me a Bissell and it's inexpensive trust me that works wonders.. Beautiful bedroom
I think the flowers are stock and not delphiniums. I love stock because it is fragrant. I am spring cleaning. I am tempted to buy things and I find cleaning does make me just as happy too.
Right!?!? The dust is everywhere! We do keep our windows closed (for the most part), but love having our slider open... so that's where most of the dust probably comes from! Thanks so much friend... hope you're doing wonderful! 💕
Is the carpet the one that eats all the dust and every time we walk it flies every place. We have to deep vacuum And wash the curtains every week so the dust is minimum ,also the windows have too be close all the time.I don’t like that but is the only way to keep the dust out of your home. Your home is so pretty I love your decor style.Thank you for sharing the real life story.
I am in Iowa and I have that dust. I drives me nuts, I thought it was just the furnace . And I am sure it might be. And we have a white cat. I am at the age that it doesn't bother me and then it does in spades. Now we have nice rain so it should settle down. Lawn work is next. Not a fan!! Joyce
I wash our bedsheets and pillows cases once a week. The blankets we use daily once a month. Now our duvet and decorative pillow covers, I wash those every three months.

True
I’m a weekly gal too :) a good habit my mum got me into as a kid❤
Once a week for us and hover the mattress Once a month.
@@dianebaker5243 - I turn my mattress once per month, but haven't tried vacuuming it as I don't have a hand-held vacuum.
I’m a weekly sheet washer here too. Every Sunday, feels so good starting the weeks with fresh sheets. I just switched to linen this year, and wow! What a difference.
Everything looks fresh and clean. 😊
Yes! SO much better! 😍

I hear those air purifiers work wonders! I may have to grab one as well! Praying you stay pain free! 💕
Loved this video !!!
Thanks Debbie! So glad you enjoyed! 💕

Yes! I am definitely more comfortable with the electronic wipes too! I had run out but need to get more! 😫
I do sheets once a week too. I am in the process of cleaning my bedrooms too. Love it when everything is so clean and fresh.

I just got so much satisfaction from watching you clean!! I need to do this so bad!!!! Love tour bed styling, so comfy!!
Thanks David!! 💕

Yes! You are not alone! 😁. I have my slider open quite often to let the fresh air in so I bet it comes from that! 😫
I wash the sheets once a week.

Yes!! The dark furniture and dust do not mix! 😁 Nothing like clean & crisp sheets! That’s a great idea, having some extras on standby!! 💡
Hi Valarie you need a air purifier to keep the dust down.
Thanks Alana!! I'll have to try that out! 💕
For the dust, change your furnace filters more often, it could help.
It definitely needs to be switched out! It’s about that time! 😁
We change our filters every 3 months, it help

I love the matte idea, brillaint! Thank you Carrie! Yes! Very exciting!! Wouldn't be possible without our wonderful UA-cam family! 😉💕
Love your frames, where did you get them?
The flowers you got from Trader Joe's is lavender Stock. They smell SO GOOD 🙂
That would make sense! I thought there were a tad short for Delphinium but went with it anyway 😄 They smell amazing! 😍
Hi Valerie, I love your videos. Check the air filter in the house to help reduce dust in the spring season
Totally! It’s about that time!
😂 That is talented..licking there names! That’s great!!

Someone said lavender stock! That would make sense! They smell SO good! 😍
I have the dust problem too! It’s awful! I’m going to look into getting a professional to come clean out the air ducts.
That’s a great idea! I bet it will help tremendously. I need to do the same!
I have the same dust problems!! I keep the windows closed in my bedroom due to pollen. Where does it come from? Love your Spring refresh!!💕💐💕💐💕
Right!?!? The dust is everywhere! We do keep our windows closed (for the most part), but love having our slider open... so that's where most of the dust probably comes from! Thanks so much friend... hope you're doing wonderful! 💕
I dust and clean my sheets weekly.
Try going over with a dryer sheet, it stops the dust resettling ❤
Thanks for the tip Susan! I will try that!💗

Iowa! I have family who moved to Iowa from California and they love it so much! We hear wonderful things! 😊
Try changing your furance filter!
That would help your dust!
Yeah, I think it's about that time!! 💗
Check and make sure your dryer vent is tight and has no holes . I've had that problem and had more dust because of that.
The part that goes outside.
Ah, I didn't think of that! Thanks for the idea... I am going to check it and make sure! 💕
If dust is coming back that quickly and that much you probably need your ducts cleaned.
You could be right! I'll look into it.. thanks for the tip! 💕
So cozy! I need a contemporary rug for my living room...I have a whiteish beige couch...Please help...
I wash my sheets twice a week in winter and summer every second day
So nice! I wish I coud have fresh sheets daily! What a treat that'd be! 😄
🌷
I wash our bedsheets and pillows cases once a week. The blankets we use daily once a month. Now our duvet and decorative pillow covers, I wash those every three months.
Seems once a week is about the norm! I wish I could have them every night!! 😆
The flowers you have there are Stock
Thanks Colleen! I thought they were a tad short for Delphinium! 😄
Save your dusting for after you make your bed, bedding casts dust
Great tip! Thank you!!
You should have your vents cleaned professionally; it will help with the dust
Thanks for the tip Ellyn! 😀
