I just can’t wait to tell you my Obovata bloomed for the first time. I’ve never had a Hoya bloom except for the Multiflora. I was so excited. They are beautiful and smell so,so good. There. Now I’ll watch the video. 😁
Miro, what do you think is the most important part of getting your hoyas to bloom? Light, fertilizer, etc? That one you're showing is so pretty! And all those blooms!! 😍
I am really enjoying these midweek spotlight vids. Perfect after the workday for the quick unwind; to enjoy focusing on select species from time to time. Thank you. 🌱
Every time I watch your channel I add another Hoya to the list! I’ve been watching for years and now have close to a hundred Hoyas thanks to you…just kidding! Love Hoyas and your channel 😊.
This is my favorite Hoya right now. It’s gorgeous. I bought a reverted silver one and I chopped it the moment I got it and GUESS WHAT?! It reverted back to solid silver so now I have the splash and silver. 😍
This is great timing for me, personally! I have a couple that have been growing, and I wasn't sure if I should let them hang or try to trellis them. You shared great info! Thank you 💚
It will get splashier for sure. Play around with the light a bit. If the light is too strong it might get less splash. Mine also had some leaves that were not so splashy as the new ones :) This is not stable, so conditions can change a lot. But you will not be disappointed with the growth and early flowers :)
@BasiePlants thanks. Its in very good light. I have been thinking where it can go and I will find a better spot for it. As I do love it so much. And it's so pretty. I've not had it more then 6ish weeks so far. But after your video I can't wait for it go grow.
Hi Miro I know you don't have one but someone else maybe able to advise I only have the silver and I'm wondering if the light situation of a lower light is the same for the silver?😊
I am not sure, I don't have the silver one yet. But I would assume that they don't want too much light either. You can always play around with the light :)
You have said before that you don't like polyneura yet the growth pattern of splashy pandurata seems the same. What is up with that? I like my polyneura and think I would also like the pandurata. The leaf shape of the splashy one is unique.
well, there are more things that go in pandurata's favor - nicer leaves, grows faster, better at branching out and blooms a lot. Unlike my polyneuras :D
I think the silver one has a growth habbit like the deep green one I have (based on the leaf shape) - in which case, you might prefer the Vietnam clone growth habbit :D

I am glad to hear that :) There will be longer weekend videos soon, so there will be plenty of them to watch :D

hahaha :D Well, I am Hoya pusher apparently :D
@@BasiePlants I some ways you are, but I love it!! ❤️

Thanks for the commentary. I really enjoyed 😉 this.
I couldn't agree more. One of my favorites.
So pretty! Love how cool it looks when it’s big. Gives me hope for my little cutting :P
I am sure to get one.
I hope it grows as well for you as it has for me
Thank you for the video! They both look amazing! I love the messy green one.
The grow wall is great, looks like a jungle.
Wait till you see the dedicated video :) I think it turned out awesome.

Do we get a Video from sweden ? 😍
There will be three videos from Sweden, but it will take me some time to edit them :)

Me to my self: babe Mero dropped a new video
LOL :D
I want this species but I'm holding out for a silver one.

Perfect timing!!! I just purchased a cutting of the pandurata Vietnam and here’s a very nice video to help me understand it better. Thanks Miro 🪴💚
Glad to hear that! It is an easy one to grow
It is true that more light = less splash. That seems to be happening with my pubicalyx
I have noticed the same :)
@@BasiePlants ok. Thanks
