Had the pleasure to meet jimmy with my brother at the meet and greet , I have to say he is such a nice guy . There were a lot of people and it was getting late and the organisers were trying to rush us . But jimmy didn’t rush anyone and took the time to take photos and sign posters for everyone. Just wanted to say Thanks for making the experience so much better 👌🏽

So I'm just gonna throw this out there in case you didn't know. In the US you can now get the Caprice PPV cop car and it's the US version of the Commodore I believe its the 6.2 6l80 trans and whatever the police stuff is offered
The ppv cop car is the US version of our caprice which is the long wheel base version of a commodore.

The Pontiac G8s here in the states were available with a 6-speed manual, but are less common and understandably are usually a little more costly than the automatics.
Really hoping he builds a G8 or a SS
Was so good meeting you in the meet & greet, like i said then you're an absolute legend and inspiration. For a car you werent comfortable in you did a killer job. You got robbed in qualifying and the judging was terrible especially when like 3/4 of the board scored over 90
Thanks for coming out and meeting the fans at the event. You were one of the only ones that took the time for photos. Made my 9 hour drive to the event much more worth it.

He bought Calder Park in the 70’s & added the banked “Thunderdome” circuit for the local nascar series (AUSCAR)
Most people these days only know Bob Jane for the tyre shops

It always feels worse on the inside of the car but from the outside I couldn't tell you were having issues. Driving through things like this is pushing you to be a better driver, pumped to see you progress every time you drive.

Pontiac g8’s did come with a manual. They also had the Chevy ss which is a bit more expensive than the g8 but they’re practically just rebadged holden’s. Manual ones go for a premium around 30-50g’s

F-ing luv GK TECH. i got the full superlock on my G and their hydro setup. Steering wheel shift knob and solid rear diff and diff carrier bushings. All aroound great products and their customer service is A-1. 😊

The use got Chevrolet ss the weren’t advertised but the made a 6speed factory they are around 20gs and up 08 to 16 I think

The Chevy ss is a bad ass car and they did come in manual in the states a lot of people swap Holden badges onto their Chevy SS, but they are so damn cool would love to see something like that for future Jim

The us model of the Holden ss is the 2015 Chevrolet ss it also came factory with a 6speed manual and ls engine
Honestly, the format of small clips and you voicing over and giving a quick break down of the competition was refreshing and topping it off with the b roll was perfect vs watching 30min of go pro footage. 👌
wish there were more CA18 builds, that engine is amazing. lighter than sr20, sturdier than sr20, more torque than sr20, revs higher than sr20.. can even get CA20 SOHC bottom end and throw the CA18 head on. just rare and expensive and not as many parts for them.
