Great guest! Amazing credentials! I admit I was pleasantly surprised with an American policy maker interview. I liked "Armenia should not pivot in a single direction". And, I also liked the porcupine policy.

It was very intresting interview especially idea and thought from a person who work for different USA administration.
Thank you Mr. Hakopian for this kind of quality program. As some of commenter said it would be very nice for Armenia government to have this kind of advisers.

Israel is smart in that they would've put a man like Edward into their administration to build relationships outside Armenia. It's a shame though that Armenia is more guided by what Moscow wants and it doesn't seem like that attitude has changed in 30 years

Neutrality is one of the basic principles of Switzerland's foreign policy. According to this principle, Switzerland is prohibited from taking part in armed conflicts and joining any military alliances. Switzerland has been officially recognized by the international community as a neutral State since 1815. Why don't we follow this direction?

The ending story is funny, however makes me think how come having such talented and influential people in Soviet era we've lost so much.... Sad, really. Mikoyans made so much for the USSR, but very little for Armenia....

That story at the end is really special. For a moment, they were no longer two officials on opposing sides of a crisis, but two sons of the same great nation, proud of each other's success. In those few seconds, three millennia of shared history made obvious the utter absurdity of the artificial division imposed on them. Where there are Armenians, there is Armenia.

Fantastic interview! We need more great minds like Mr. Djerejian in the Armenian and American governments. Just one question Eric, why do you say Armenia is in Europe? Did you go to geography class in America? 😂 Armenia is in West Asia… and to answer your question, are we to white and Christian for the left and too dark for the right? Yes! Definitely. Absolutely. Thanks for this important and thought provoking show. Love from HayAngeles!

I I think he is wrong armenia should develop great relationship with Europe just be part of Europe at same times
Develop a nice relationship with turkey,
    Russia, Iran
Most important adapt, European values, and lives with them
    And do business with others

Is this diplomat really representative of US. He is acting not in interest of US but like "useful idiots" promoting russian-turkic propaganda about Armenia must be neutral and fo holistic policy.
Why are you not giving up your US Citizenship and living in holistic turkey.

Perhaps Armenians can stop making shyte up about themselves first and foremost.
I listened the interview until the interview started his b/s about Armenians being ethnically cleansed as if close to 700,000 Turks have not been ethnically cleansed from Karabag in early 90s.
