Hi dear,
I follow Pandanallur style majorly with little adaptation of kalakshetra style.. Kerala kalamandalm style is quite different from these styles they use lot of karanas n angaharas.. it's beautiful in it own way ☺️

In abhinaya darpan it's said, it's called mandala bheda because you can make a mandala-circle with them.
I can't understand this explanation...can you please make me understand.

Yes.. Understanding Bharatanatyam by Mrinalini Sarabhai..
Versions also depends on teacher's choice of Bharatanatyam style...
