Right on. U keep keeping it real. The man man made over 700 songs. Nobody can honestly say that they like all of them. I’m obsessed with the man, and I probably only like about 500.
Love you Brandy I'm 70 and have always been Elvis die-hard fan been to his house met him once he has the greatest voice and my three fav of his if I can dream pocketfull of rainbows it hurts me and know u like the first two thank you for love of Elvis and also best looking man ever
I have this and all of his songs in one medium or another, mostly on original vinyl from the 50s -60s. This is the '64 version but the '68 Special version is also cool. The 50s and early 60s are my favorites, but he displayed great vocal ranges in some of the 70s renditions, like in Bridge Over Troubled Water. From raw Rock in the 50s to even more versatility in the 60s and 70s as his voice further developed.
This is a great song and performance by Elvis and it's not a cover song like many others were. Charlie Daniels wrote this song for Elvis in 1964 and later became a country music legend. He did the first country rap song called Devil Went Down To Georgia. You should check it out!👍
''It hurts me´´ was first recorded by Jerry Jackson in 1963 but wasn't released until 1990 on a ''Bear Family' Records'' compilation cd. Elvis' version of the song made in 1964 was the first to be released and that makes his version the original version and not a cover song. 😊
@@urbanakerlund8710 Charlie was once on the TG Shepard radio show on Elvis SiriusXM radio before he got sick and died and he said that he wrote the song and gave it to Elvis. It was the song that launched his songwriting career.
At 3:34 is a scene from the movie "Easy Come, Easy Go." The song being played was "Yoga Is As Yoga Does." Elvis flew into a rage going into his trailer afterwards.
They must of had to really twist his arm to wear the blue jeans in some of the movie scenes because I know he hated wearing jeans and equated them to being dirt poor when he was a kid. Great background vocals here.
Great reaction as usual, always a joy to listen to you and look at 😊😊 When released as a single back in 1964 fans were upset that this was the B side to the A side Kissin Cousins (Rocking version) which was used to promote the film of the same name. Despite that it still got to number 29 in Billboard charts . Give Kissin Cousins (got to number 12) a listen in your own time and see what you think was best Brandy.
Thank you so much for the honorable mention 😉💞 I knew you'd love this one! Yes! 👏👏👏👏 Fabulous reaction! Always do you, BrandyBerry! Be honest and true to you 👍 Love your honest commentary & reaction 😊 Here is a link to the original audio of the 1968 version of "It Hurts Me" but with a photo montage and not from a certain * cough * channel. m.ua-cam.com/video/I3_XRmS-NsU/v-deo.html Take your time! I understand you have life priorities and other requests ☺ Thank you so much once again for the shout out & honestly wonderful reaction 🙌🙌🙌🌹🌹🌹🌹 As always, peace & blessings to you & yours 💕
Hey darlin, I'm very much enjoying your reactions to Elvis. I'm a big fan, but I don't enjoy all his songs, some are just not for me. And that goes to every artist. So when you do "Don't be cruel" Please do the vid from Jan 6 1957. It will be worth your wild. INFO, you should know. At the time people were outraged by his dance moves, they called him Elvis the pelvis. So on TV they would only show him from the waist up. And thats why this vid is so good, Elvis never fails to please. P.s. I just subscribed.
Here's something you could try. You could play the audio of the '68 version and show your expression and show a few seconds of the video footage here and there. Because usually the reason people request this one is because Elvis does a karate dance in it. 😆 So like you could record your face and after you record yourself watching it, add the audio and a tiny bit of video here and there. So like the Elvis clips would take up the whole screen in the spots where you place them and your face would take up the whole screen the rest of the time. (I know you can definitely do that kind of editing in pretty much any free editor, like "VN - Video Editor" for Android. And you can add some special effect to the Elvis footage in any basic free editor, to make it harder to get copyright striked.) Or watch the video and record it the way you normally do, then afterwards, completely blur out or black out the screen where the Elvis video is playing, except for a few seconds of video here and there. (Idk which editors can blur just a piece of the screen that you highlight, but you can check out some editors and see what they do. Blurring is very useful for preventing copyright strikes, from my understanding. DaVinci Resolve should be able to do it, and it's free, but not every computer can handle an editor that takes up that much Memory. It's worth a shot though. The other issue is that there are a lot of tabs and buttons so you need to watch UA-cam tutorials on how to use it. It's worth it though because you can do anything with DaVinci. It's as good as the most expensive editors.) Obviously, I wouldn't say to do all that just to keep one video from getting striked. I'm giving some suggestions to make it easier to avoid strikes in any future videos, or for editing and reuploading any videos that were already striked.
This was the '64 version. In the '68 Comeback Special version, as someone mentioned, Elvis does karate but only sings part of the song. Never feel bad about giving your honest opinion. Those reactors who love every song they hear are so fake and always lose me pretty quickly. I've heard every Elvis song, and I must admit some of them just aren't my cup of tea.
One of his best Love it!!
Oh when I found this GEM years ago I played it over and over.
Love this song. I don't think you can find a bad picuture of this handsome man. He will always be the best. thank you.
His magnificent voice so divinely showcased here 💕💕
He goes deep with song

His voice was beautiful in this.
Girl, the Elvis Mafia will come for you. I love Elvis and I love Elvis livers, but they WILL come for you.
Love this! So gorgeous. React to How the Web Was Woven

ANOTHER BANGER!! AWESOME JOB MY DEAR! 🙏🙏🫂🔥🔥🔥🎙🎼🎙😘
Love your journey with Elvis. And there is soooooo much more. Some really great stuff. I'm sure people have suggested Bossa Nova Baby.
Like you said, I hope you feel free to be truthful about your take. I'm a HUGE Elvis fan and there are a lot of his songs I don't care for.
I’ve been a fan of his for 54 years. I love this song.
@@stacymoore9836 I like it too.

I am a BIG Elvis fan for 39 years, and I do not like every song, but about 75%

Here's the superior 68 version. Not a Vevo video

I absolutely hate some of Elvis's songs. Esp the Hollywood movie era..And love songs, I hate them regardless of who's belting them out. LOLOLOL. 👍
