Frank shows some authentic emotion in the scenes in this episode. It’s a relief. And I appreciate his ability to tap into deep painful emotions, without the growling, huffy sounds. Good job. I hope he continues to express his genuine heart felt feelings. It is very meaningful.
The only people who can really comfort someone who's lost a child are those who have gone through it themselves and understand the heartbreak. Because Maeve lost two babies, she knows exactly what Jill's going through.
I liked Frank's response to Seneca at the end. Generally, he is just as arrogant as Seneca, but here he was open hearted and kind even though he was being kicked out.
Was that a gas explosion or an electrical mishap? they said a propane tank explosion, I'm confused. Are they wrong about that because they are just guessing?
Debbie Holzherr oh, ok. Thanks for telling. I've been trying to figure that out for years. I just could not make the connection between the. Electrical outlet and the propane tank. Good looking out. Thanks again.😊👍👍❤❤.
Now if Delia had left Little John alone and walked on the beach all holy hell would have broke lose. Frank said you both would have been killed. He never would have said that to Dee. I would never walk on the beach and leave my child in the house alone.
OMG, what a powerful, moving scene between Jill and Maeve. Award winning acting.
Yes! The writing and acting was award worthly for both.

It was important to see Frank cry. I wondered when somebody would. And what he said to Seneca was extremely compassionate.

Shut up, Seneca! Frank acknowledging both his AND Seneca's losses was so touching
YES! About time Frank showed who he is. And to say what he did back to Seneca was incredible.
These scenes with Jill are gut wrenching.
You can see the pain in Frank's face.😳

That was really heartless of Seneca
Pretty sure these are the scenes (or some of the scenes) that got Helen G and Nancy A the Emmy nominations in 1979.

@@lb1262dt no I think it started as an electrical fire that ignited the propane tank.

Oh my god I am bawling. I cannot believe how realistically they handled that.

It was so stupid they had Jill do that. She would not! And you are 100% right about if it were Delia.
So true. Jill is perfect and Dee is evil in the Ryan's eyes.
No, Frank, Jill did not do the right thing. Stop telling her that. Everyone on Ryan's Hope wants to absolve everyone of accountability.
