I have this EXACT HTRC charger. I have had it since 2020. It still works great. I have tested its accuracy against an HP bench oscilloscope and Fluke Multimeter. The tolerances are absolutely acceptable for such a bargain charger, and better than most including my Traxxas 6amp charger based on the same SkyRC B6 V2 PCB these are both built upon. This charger provides all the features in the original SkyRC where the Traxxas does not, like reading individual cell resistance which is very important for monitoring battery health! So after over 4 years of use this little charger has more than paid for itself and outlasted a couple other much more expensive chargers.
Also wanted to mention that I fried mine with a static charge from my finger. I had mine charging a battery once and I had static build-up and did not know it until I touched one of the buttons and a spark from my finger totally fried the unit instantly. It was a very strong spark and it was over. So be sure you discharge all static if you are in a high static environment.
Just my opinion but I don't see any reason to get this charger over Toolkitrc M6. This is based on the ancient 4 button charger, with added features. The M6 has more features, higher power, more compact, better interface and the list goes on. All for nearly the same price. The only thing I like from this charger is the passive cooling that comes at a cost of bigger physical appearance, which I actually wouldn't even trade with.
Love my b6 v2. I’ve had mine over a year and a half and the power supply is just now starting to give me fits. Like if I bump the power cable the charger will reset but as long as I leave it be it’s fine and charges well.
Could you plug multiple 3s batteries in the 3s/4s sockets. Just asking because my balance leads on my balance board doesn't work but the xt 60 ones are ok. So i would use my board to balance xt60 and plug two batteries in those ports. Just using the first 3s pins out of the 4s port for example
It seems simple can I just use a balance board with a xt60 with the charger ports and can I charge more than one battery and if they have the same voltage and same cell and on the balance board if it comes with another plug can I just use the white balance plug not the other plug that comes with the balance board
Hello, can this charger still be recommended? My son got an RC model for Christmas and I need to look for a good and inexpensive charger. Will this purchase be a good one or should I look for something else?
I have one like this and everything works except, charge in balance mode and balance battery . Work couple seconds and then on the screen at mah shows 0 and stay like this hours . In simple mode charge in series reach's at the end, but in balance mode charge or balance battery do nothing . You tasted yours it's ok ? Thanks
I have same fake blue imax b6 also. My 4s is broke after few charge. Maybe battery is defective or maybe this fake @ss sh**t broke it. Now in dilemma whether to use it on my new lipo or not. So whats your opinion about this fake blue charger? I use 1.5amp ac adapter before. Now i purchase 6amp power brick to use with it. Now i rarely do fpv due to busy working..whats ur recommendation for great budget charger u see fit for keep 4s healthy?

Can i just use a normal plug in my walls to get power? If yes, will the m6 work with a weaker input, like with the cable i use for my phone?
I had a Original IMAX B6 Mini on which the display suddenly started showing weird characters instead of alphabets an year ago and so it is not usable now. The only way left to use it is to connect to a PC and use the SKYRC software to set the modes and monitor the charge via USB. Since then I do not trust chargers of this design at all...
Looks like a fake of Skyrc? Can you do a more detail test of it accuracy like the individual voltage and also current while charging. Will get a few if its accurate.
I have this same B6 V2 but in Gold plate. When I used the storage/discharge function, the entire unit metal gets hot to the touch. Does anyone else have this issue?
This is POS, is just die after 2 years without any reason, last day start to act strange, don't see battery, and now won't work. Don't buy this charger, you will regret. Even fake SkyRC is better. First time buy fake sky rc mini version but because of manufacturer mistake when connect serial port its fries it self, fix that and second time fries with over rated current trough it, I know last time is my mistake but this charger HTRC have bad work from start, storage mode is very bad, its rise voltage up to 3,7 per cell and stop, B6 mini is work that very well by maintaining voltage with very low current up to 0,1A and 3,7 or 3,8V then stops . And like that last days got couple time warning about battery disconnect, restart and work ok but now no more work with any tipe of battery charge, discharge, storage, power mode...nothing....

What power supply do you use for the M6?
I don't own a M6 myself, but for my charger I use some random 19V 8A power adapter I have laying around, @@SmallsFPV.
Yes, @bojo perez. Set on Pb and 6S, charge current should be 1/5 of battery capacity.

Any hobby charger will do, @bojo perez. I think those that accepts AC input is more suitable for you. No need to source external power supply.

Im still trying to figure out how to carge my 4s lipo with this when ever i hold the start button to start it starts to beep a tell me to disconect
in balance mode descarge, capacity is /total, not /cell . its true ? so you can't check capacity, just one by one
Does the 3,2 v not destroy the cell by discharging a lipo, why they set it so low? 3,6 max dosent it?

Most likely is a faulty screen which can be purchase from electronic components shop and replace it yourself

It will get very hot naturally because of current dissipation through heat. Use with caution ,batter use with a fan or something like that.
Just what i was about to post myself. YES mine gets extreemly hot when in Storage Mode. Almost too hot to touch!!!!
