As a serviceman of a different generation, thank you for your service David. I’m long enough in the tooth to remember watching FA2 and GR7 harriers operating off the HMS INVINCIBLE.
Noticed they steered clear of talking too much about his actual combat sorties during the war, focusing instead on his overall career in aviation. The aircraft he took the 20mm round in during the initial attack on Stanley airfield (ZA 192) was the same one he destroyed a Puma and shared in the destruction of an A-109 in on 23 May; later that same day it crashed under unknown circumstances into the Sea shortly after taking off from Hermes, killing LCDR Batt. The May 2007 issue of Model Aircraft Monthly has several pictures taken by Morgan during the conflict, including the repaired tail of ZA 192 and the chaff arrangement in the airbrake that was discussed. It's a great issue to have if you're a Sea Harrier fan; has the color and codes as well as a brief combat history of each participating Sea Harrier listed.
Quite by chance I saw HMS Hermes arrive back into port from the Falklands, looked more than a touch ragged but with an immaculate Crew lining the deck, a breath taking sight I'll never forget, great to hear some insight into what the Harrier pilots were achieving in action.
Blimey, David Morgan DSC! Wonderful stuff Airfix. Fantastic. This is going to be one heck of a fascinating interview. Good to see the Desk is uncluttered. No more Laptops and Boxes blocking our line of sight. Thank you Airfix, things are looking much more Professional.
Hi, guys, good show. Now come on Airfix, it's an iconic British aircraft, the Fairy Gannet, 1/48 with folding wings will go down very well at this time.

The sound is atrocious.
Why have you got this annoying repetitve music droning away in the background? ...it spoils what is an otherwise excellent vid.
Amazing !
