Если после каждого такого контакта будут такие паузы...такие совещания судей... смотреть такое каратэ - пытка.

They should use gloves and mouth pieces. This is very dangerous. It gives me anxiety to watch those blows without control to the face. The danger of losing teeth or getting a broken nose is high. This makes me worry about the above guy's teeth. If I were him I would be weeks or months paranoid checking my teeth in the mirror to see if they are fine. He received some brutal non-controlled punches to the mouth 😨.
This is a sport not a street brawl. That guy of below has no control. It's dangerous. If they were using head gears it would be safer but they are not.
They are clearly wearing gum shields and mitts- you can see both at various points in the fight
They keep their head up too... I've never like that about karate.

This fight should end in the kisami tsuki at 2:57 . Should score ippon, perfect timing and good technique.

@@nylonandstockinggirls2636 in traditional Karate we control our strikes to avoid unecessary damage to the opponent, so the score is based in how clear and precise the technique was. Ippon is scored for a strike considered decisive, like could knockdown your opponent If wasn't controled, usually is scored when the opponent shows no defense attempt against a strike to the face. That is to avoid serious injuries, so in traditional Karate you don't need to actually knock your opponent out to Win the fight, you have to show that you could do It If you want to throught a good technique application.
This is the perfect example of traditional karate absurd! At least 3 clean and perfectly targeted and timed tsuki of shiro not approved by the judges. It's not his fault that aka was so bad at defence after all. In WKF he would score at least 3 waza-ari. On the other hand ushiro geri below the belt level (to the groin) and no penalty - hilarious. It's nearly impossible to score a point in ITKF... Because of it these sparrings are so boring - a few minutes of bouncing, jerky moves and futile attempts to score a point and finally one of these attempts inadvertently succeeds, unexpectedly for the winner himself. Judges' verdict is so subjective and arbitrary here...
@@heian1973 i agree that the veridict is too subjective and arbitrary, would be easer if they just allow knockdowns, just put some head gear and it's ok, no more drama about it, in the end of the day this is a fight, they are trading punches and kicks, of course its dangerous, if you don't want to get hurt at all is just don't do it. But we have to face the fact that if you enter in a tatami for a fight you have to be ready for a possible injury. The thing with traidional karate is that they want to keep close from the real life but in the same way they want to be more protective as possible and it is a quite contradictory and confuse. BUT, it's better than WKF rules, because WKF just created another karate variation, like taekwondo or tang soo do for example, for me WKF represents the European Karate or Western Karate, not the traditional japanese Karate or Budo Karate. Anyways, sport in traditional karate is just 20% of the training, most of the part of the training we train for real life situations.
@@TiagoPortas I only rarely feel that karate would work in real life. Take bunkai for example. Many combinations look fancy but they're just too complicated for real life application when you're taken by surprise, not warmed up, not stretched, not dressed comfortably. 90% of self-defense techniques we practice are designed against typical karate attacks. But a street fighter doesn't attack you with a perfect kizami tsuki. This would usually be a rapid and violent series of chaotic punches. No chance to block or intercept all of them, than use a fancy arm lock and nice and smooth throw - no f... way! All traditional martial arts are pretty far from real life. MMA, krav maga, etc are much closer...

@@maninhogameplays7407 Há várias instituições com propostas diferentes no karate, cada qual com seu conjunto de regras, algumas conservam o lado marcial, outras mais voltadas ao esporte. Todas elevando o nome da arte do karate. Infelizmente vc foi desrespeitoso em seu comentário.

Vergonha de arbitragem! O karatê não é isso , só faltava dar a luta para o outro fraquíssimo tecnicamente, o vencedor teve que marcar uns 10 pontos pra valer dois . Vergonha, esses caras estão acabando com a reputação do Karate raiz .
Cierto es una charada, una comedia, una inutilidad de Kumite. El Kumite deberia estar mas bien orientado en la linea del que practicaba Bruce Lee. Da gusto ver los combates de bruce lee no arbitrados, son pocos , pero son valiosos . Con proteccion justa y permitiendo el contacto y la tecnica. El Kumite de la Federacion de Karate I. es una comedia y el de JKA es parecido. Además de muy peligroso.
