Wicked video Dave, great riding! False sense of security looks like a really fun trail! How you finding the ebike? Do you notice the extra weight at any stage over a ride?
@@kizbish thanks Kieran… yeah false sense of security I really loved as I though it was just a way to get back to where I started. The bike’s power limit kicked in after 25km and then it feels like a tank if you still need to pedal for a jump. But most of the time it’s great
@DMMTB not a bad way to ride back to where you started though is it 😂 Yeah i saw that in the vid, if nothing else it'll make the climbs a whole lot easier
@@DMMTByeah I think that’s where a lot of the lightweight versions have it over the full powered eebs , as most jumps with a 5m + gap you need between 30-40 ks & not to mention having to pull way more with the extra weight ! My wife just bought a Specialised Turbo Levo SL and you hardly notice when the motors turned off 😎 I guess it comes down to personal preference and what’s more important to you , more laps or bigger gaps lol 😜🤘😎 The Crew @Narooma Bicycle shop are absolute legends, go out of their way to help and can’t wait to get back up there soon 🤘👍 Myself & my wife Gillian where up there a couple of months ago and I reckon Big Dogs Bone was definitely a stand out for me ! Keep the great videos coming Davo 👍👍Cheers 🍻
@@archie68x thanks Archie. Yeah there is pros and cons with any bike but the deal I got with the focus I couldn’t go past it. I was contemplating an sl ebike. Glad you’re enjoying the vids. Where are you and your wife based at?
Great vid Dave. That's the first I've seen of a lot of these trails at Mogo. Something tells me though that I would end up riding the shit out of Big Dogs Bone 😂 🤘
What a fun location to explore Dave. I can see you're definitely starting to enjoy the stability of the ebike! Based on the other comments, it also looks like we can expecting some more quality content from MOGO in the future.
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Thanks Darren. Yeah Mogo is best on an E bike as it’s quite spread out and no shuttles unless you take it in turn to drive back up. Yeah about 70% through the trails and also new trails coming online soon with bigger jump lines 😀
Great video Dave, it's so nice to see how it's getting warmer where you are while winter is getting closer and everything is wet. A great place with some really cool lines. Great riding and great shots mate. Thanks for sharing and have a great week✌. Ride on🤙
Thanks Christoph. Yeah it's getting warmer here as we get close to Christmas So will need to start riding earlier soon to finish before it get too hot! It is a great place to ride (on an ebike) & still more trails I haven't ridden there yet.
Great video as always 🙌🏻👏🏻 did you get to ride Poachers Rite or Flying Mullet while you were there, definitely worth a ride. How much fun is Currywang 🤘🏼 Cheers Jay
Hey Jay, Yeah I rode both Poachers & Flying Mullet the 1st time on the Norco Sight & they were great. Currywang was rely good! Catch up soon for a spin

Awesome network there.
False Sense of Security is pretty much my fave there mate. Poachers Rite and Devil is a Temptor get special mentions.
I haven't ridden Devil is The Temptor Carl ... I'll check it out next time. For me I can't go past Big Dog's Bone

Great showcase of trails not often featured on YT. Clearly you're enjoying the Focus with the advantages outweighing the negs 🤟
@@malmtb Thanks Carl, yeah very vantages having an ebike at Mogo
Big dogs bone looks like the standout.

hey DM MTB, u should try Compression Session next time it’s a flowy pumptrack that’s actually quite fun
I've looked it up on trail forks & I was running out of time on the day but with your recommendation I'll ride it. 👌
