amazing guide, great point about the tank items. I always thought just general tank items are good but I never thought about plugging in what they don't have.
Bro I watched your video from yesterday and part ii from today. Sure I figured out some concepts on my own, such as item stacking is always going to be stronger, but I never thought about it in terms of diminishing returns. Also had no idea how the loot bag worked from video one. Anyways long story short, your content is top notch. It’s changed the way I think about itemization and how I think about the game in general. 👍🏼
really nice guide, very helpful- im curious about the point of the little dog in the corner tho, hes somewhat distracting, and the odd audio sync is kinda offputting
The foundation of this channel was people who like the dog. I'm trying to fix the sync issue. If it's really bad for you it won't be gone so yeah idk hopefully I can fix it
Amazing video!! Have a question, durability 50% means they deal you half of the damage? So if u go 2 heartsteels and heartsteel radiant with 6 watchers u could end up being invulnerable? Or they don´t stack? Thanks for the video!!
Durability percentages dont stack like thT. 50% from watcher + 50% from heartsteel = 75% dmg reduction. Heres how the math works. 100 dmg + 50% dmg reduct (watcher) = 50 dmg to your champ. Now we add the next iteration of dmg reduc so 50 dmg + 50% reduc (items) = 25 dmg Maybe you also have anomalies 25dmg + 50% (anomaly) = 12.5. This prevents 100% reduction of anything, and also is why theres diminishing returns on stacking one stat.
I agree with everything except your point on crit. Since crit chance is a percentage which scales linearly, each point of crit becomes more effective than the previous one. 10% crit chance is equal to 1 crit every 10 attack. 20% is equal to 1 crit every 5 attacks. As your crit chance goes towards 100 the value of each crit does not diminish.
The value doesn't diminish but the opportunity cost increases because everything scales linearly 10 additional crit chance increases damage as much at 0% and at 50% but 20 ap/ad is more impactful at 50% crit chance than 0% There are still diminishing returns when you look at the damage with a logarithmic scale
I will talk about this in the next presentation you are right but typically you solve crit with item pairings which is another topic that takes a bit longer

glad it could help
Your content has been really growing on me! Thanks for making it. I love watching it and then not following it and going 7th 😂😂😂

Thank you for the guide :)
I look forward to going through it ~
Enjoying your yaps Fenrir, thank you :)
So what’s the best Silco items?
Your slides are very nice, it would be great if the utility slide has front and backline differentiation or at least a uniform sortation.
Btw, is the second anti heal a front or backline item?
What season did you start playing tft? What has been your favorite?
i started set 9 so june a year ago. Set 9 was my favourite by far
@FenrirButGaming Sounds like set 16 may have some call backs to set 9 if it's a similar theme!
yo you should tone down the music bc its very loud

@@ericyin2810 True!! Thanks for explaining!!! Very much appreciated!
They don't stack linearly and someone already explained a bit
