Brilliant design! There was so much detail in this tutorial - most people who have reviewed Spectral Suite have not gone into the features thoroughly. It seems to be a very comprehensive tool.
These tools are very cool but MSEG and more user friendly automation handles would be amazing. See Studio One for the proper UX/UI performance and feel. Bitwig's automation is currently VERY clunky. Also please tone down the sensitivity of the clip gain handles. It jumps 10 db with the slightest mouse movement. Also can you please allow the browser to remember the sample preview volume level ? Every time I open the software and start browsing samples I need to lower it by -10db. Many professionals do not mix at 0 db ... so why should all the samples default to 0db?
@@tgoodjenkins I wasn’t talking about the modulation features which are incredible in Bitwig. I was talking about the basic automation handles. Ducking volumes on vocals, sounds, etc..
@@tgoodjenkins Yes there are some really cool possibilities with the modulation tools. I would say Bitwig is far beyond any software in existence in that category. Let me provide example which should help with context. I recently recorded a singer for a song we're doing for a client. We did a lead track, 8 double tracks, 8 high harmony tracks, 4 alternate voice tracks, and adlibs. In EACH of these tracks I manually go in and adjust the volume of phrases that are too loud. I also remove every breath and 'ess' from each track individually. This takes a ton of use of the automation 'handles'. Its not possible to do quickly in Bitwig because of the feel and lack of intuitiveness. This is why I use Studio One to record and process my vocals. I use it to mix and master my songs as well because Bitwig usually doesn't like the size of my productions..
Imagine if this guy and the House of Kush guy had a baby and that baby talked about DAW features and compression and so forth (PS: good video, thank you)
I wish there were some simple non-spectral splitters in Bitwig without latency besides multi-band. (Like the free plugin TheSplit by TheZhe) Currently, I'm trying to make my own non-spectral loudness splitter CLAP plugin to make up for it.
@@jameslast6581 MSEG - Multi-stage envelope generator, (or segment) has been a feature requested by the community for years. As for the comment, it's a play on words using the title of the Beatles tune 'All you need is love"
Thank you. I'm beginning to understand these graphs and readings. You are very good at explaining what is going on.
Such a great teacher. Always feel like I’m back in college at my favorite class

Oh I could use this for intro versions of a lead sample.
Please tell me how to reduce the key of a song in the Bitwig 8 track program.
David makes the most inspiring videos. Always makes me happy. 👍

As primarily a studio one user, the automation inside studio one is nowhere near Bitwigs modulation.....

MSEG would be nice but MidiShaper is filling the gap pretty nicely for now
@@MagicCvstle a lot of that can be achieved with the modulation inside of bitwig while mixing. But i prefer that style for what i do.

Gregory Scott 😎✌️
Maybe the In the Mix dude can watch them make the baby
is it just me or is the arranger here differently colored (darker)?
It's not the arranger, it's the launcher. Doesn't look like it has changed in lightness.
You can set the UI brightness in the settings
just wow
If you're smart thats a oeksound soothe alternative

All You Need Is Mseg (c) The Beatles
what does that mean?

🤣 Love that album!
@@soundfx68 thank you!!

Is this to distract us from waiting for the real 4.5 / 5.0? Because it's working... Hopefully parts 2-4/4 are coming soon(ish) :)
I hope they surprise us finally with some core DAW features. They added nice gimmicky features the last years.
@@iliravdyli4109 Maybe some workflow speedup features. Making it less necessary to have sniper precision when working with audio.
Amazing plugins. And let me say this. If you guys want extra money, then a preset shop will work, or simply, increase price of the upgrade plan.
Too bad it doesn’t work in real time with out delay
Instruments please
